Stargate SG-1 Discussion

A sign when you have been watching too much SG-1..

Had a long dream last night in which I was debating how on earth SG-C could engage in radio communications or receive telemetry back from a MALP over an active gate connection, when the wormhole, by definition, only works in one direction at a time. :D

(I guess the dream was informed by the "two way" discussion in Wormhole Xtreme, and the episode where Teal'c got stuck in the buffer coming back from a planet (48 Hours). ) LOL

and I am not altogether convinced, its not a good question :)

LOL! I've done that same thing with SG1, B5 and other shows. The question is a good one. Guess the question would be: what types of matter can travel both ways through a wormhole? Is electromagnetic radiation (radio) exempt? :D

Seriously. I thought it was a good question, but I'd prefer not to be thinking about it at 3am in bed. :)

Watching 48 hours ... Maybourne, Q & we meet McKay for the first time...

I was struck by how skinny McKay was, but not by how arrogant and obnoxious. They captured his eventual character very well right from the beginning. Loved watching Hammond send him off to Russia. :)

I am off to the gym, and on deck for the eliptical machine torture this morning is the conclusion to "The Summit" :D

I'd rather watch the dvd or HD versions (that's whats been on Showtime Beyond lately starting with S4)

Well, Showtime HD isn't available for me, and while the DVDs are good, there is a certain convenience to Netflix. They are all there when I need them. :)

Just finished Last Stand. Good one.

I'd like to see how they look in HD as well, but alas, no ShoBeyond in HD here either...

Only memories of SG1 in HD when Sigh-Figh had them on...

And I still don't know if I am willing to spend several hundred dollars for the series on BD (assuming it comes out someday), having already spent at least $200 for it all on DVD.
