Hey Digg. Can you tell us how much bandwith dish has today?? The way it looks now. How many more national hd channels can be added to the birds they have at this moment??

9443 - HDTV3 (A) removed from EchoStar3 61.5W TP 20 ConUS beam

Great! Now what I am going to complain about wasting up bandwidth when I call and email about not having NESN HD.

Not really as they hold all the answers as to what is available on each bird and their uplink facilities. But I can tell you this.... 129 TP 31 is completely void of video streams. They just cleared off a TP at 61.5. Without any further uplink changes they could add 6 more HD's right there if of course they have the equipment, legal contracts, and master feeds to add them.

I looked briefly as D*'s newly launched HD channels and didn't see anything I don't already have with E*.... or.... didn't see anything I'd actually WATCH that I didn't alraedy have with E*. Maybe I just didn't study the list hard enough. :)

Its' not the so called list of HD channels they have I want , but the pq! Full HD Baby! My brother has D*** and say's its awsome!

11 HD channels on transponders at 129 that are currently (or have recently) been used.

4 HD channels on transponders at 110 if and when they convert the remaining MPEG2-HD channels to MPEG4-HD channels.

And they can always add a few more by replacing HD PPV channels with national HD channels.

Other than HBO/Cinemax/Starz/Showtime, there will be very few new national HD channels launched over the next few months - much less than 15.

So, even with the delays to the launches of new satellites, they should be launched and online by the time they are really needed.

I can live with that. Picking up more HBO/Starz/Showtime channels is #1 in my book.

If I made a list of the top 10 new HD channels I want, all of them would be premium movie channels.

Hello everyone, I have been visiting here for a while now but I have never registered before, since I don't know much.

You guys have a very nice list here, I can't think of another forum that has a fta list and pay list, can anyone tell me where you got it from? Who keeps it up to date, I have noticed that you are doing a good job, I noticed a post in the fta area (my favorite section) and qwerty has been posting about it, he is a senior member? where does he get his information from? Also there Digiblur asks who can update it, I though he is the staff member, and he said he updated it in this thread. I am confused  Who are the staff members working on your list? I looked at the forum members here and unfortunately it does not say who it is. whoever you are your doing a great job :up

Holy smoke Digi, I had not seen the List. Good job!

and now I'm more upset. Of all the RSNs channels they uploaded months ago on 129, the only one that is not active is FSBA.

That's not my work... I just supply the CSV files and gave a few suggestions/features requests that I knew folks would like.

Send your thanks to qwert1515, it is his hard work behind the scenes. Drop him a PM.

Be sure and check out the sort options. Click on the 129 location then sort by transponder. Instantly see the "loading" of the transponders.

So what's the deal with the Showtime channels in the preview range? I have no guide info for them and it tells me they're not available if I try to go to them.

Upgrading rx/Returning Old Equipment?

"moved" to atlanta
