Looks like a collection of the stuff that D* doens't pay any extra for per subscriber :) Free of extra costs, but they can require a sub to it for $10 to get the international stuff.

I would look at it as a $10 equipment charge :)

Thanks masterdeals. You the bomb! Thanks for finding this!

I was browsing and changing channels and I found out it includes FSN West and Prime Ticket! Yippee!! I don't have to buy a sports package! It also includes local channels.

Yes this is good information. It will be nice to add this cheap basic pack to get "Passions" soap for my wife ,without having to pay $50.00 a month for total choice. I added Directv today on the phone for the Italian channel for $9.99 and the basic pack for $9.99 so I am only going to pay about $21.50 a month with tax for the one show my wife can't get with DISH. Oh and we will now have 50 XM sat channels with DIrectv to go with the Siruis sat channels on DISH. Not bad for $ 21.50. IT looks like 7/07/07 turned out to be my lucky day for information.

Check your account to ensure you aren't on the $29.99 premium basic package. I don't remember seeing anything about RSN. I think it said locals are included though.

Maybe they are considering the RSN a local :)

Interest approach. Most would use the family pack, but you should be good at $20 and it has your locals too.

Now you can give us a review on the SKY Itialian channel :D

The only problem there is that I don't speak Italian . :p I sure hope that the secondary language sap program works in English , that is if the basic Directv receiver does that sort of thing. The main reason why we went with the international pack is that the basic pack has channel 101 and the Family Pack doesn't. That is the only channel that my wife wants to see since Passions is on that channel. Oh and the extra Houston locals are nice in case the DISH 622 dvr is busy recording on all 3 tuners.
