Pryor leaving OSU

He has good endorsements(Gruden, among others) and the intent is to groom to possibly be a starter in approx. 3 years. He has a pro body and arm and he is CLEARLY willing to work alot more than Jamarcus Fat-ass. Very athletic ...maybe enough to move to another position. As a 3rd or 4th round, I do not think it's that much of a risk. As opposed to Fat-ass, who got guarenteed money as the overall #1 pick, Pryor will be hungry to prove people wrong....as long as you dangle the carrot infront of him, I think he is willing to put the effort. Win-win IF he is picked 3rd or lower.

Personally, I think because of his size and the coaching he has gotten, he can be much better than Tebow.

I hope your right, but in watching him thru college, they kept saying he's gotten much better as a passer, but I never saw it.
He still Floats the ball way too much.

The person Gruden was happiest to see was Pryors WR Dane Sanzenbacher ..... Gruden pointed out that Pryor won this MVP and that MVP of the game award, but it was SANZENBACHER that saved his bacon and made great plays for Pryor.

Got a feeling if Gruden was still Coaching, Sanzenbacher would be on HIS team.

Pryor's agent said he will sign, play any position asked and will not appeal suspension.

Later, speaking to a smaller group of reporters, Pryor made his intentions clear.

"I'm not open to other positions, at all," he said. "When I get on a team going in, I want to be a quarterback. But if there were to be a change, because there's another quarterback on the team that's been there and I need to go somewhere to win, just for me sacrificing myself to help the team win, I'll do that.

This kid will never change. He will be a cancer for any team who get's him.

I'm calling it now though. He ends up in Cincy. It would be a perfect fit. The Bengals love these types of players.

So you are saying, he will walk into any lockerroom... regardless of the veteran leadership...and just take over? He was a "cancer" at OSU because they let him. I doubt a veteran in ANY locker room will let that happen.

He just seems to say and do everything wrong. Call it cancer, karma or whatever, I would not want him on my team, despite his athletic skills.

Just asking, YOU being a Browns fan...you are saying that there would be NO veteran on your team that would not straighten his ass out? IF you do not think so, that does not say much about your teams leadership.

I will tell you this right now, Richard Seymour would tear a new one in him if he ended up on the Raiders.

Bigger names have tried to get through to Pryor, but he still doesn't seem to get it. On a young team, I don't think he's a good fit.

Bigger names? Like who? His school? His coach? Both were just pit stops. When your the #1 QB going into college, your plan is the NFL. Not a degree. Please tell me, I am curious to know.

IMO he will go to a team that doesn't need a QB so he can learn.

Exactly, so I would think it would be Oakland because Campbell is their guy AND he is in his prime at 28. IF he goes to Washington or Cincinnati, and showed ANY signs of improvement, the temptation would be too great to start him...and he maybe physically ready, but he ain't mentally ready. In Oakland, he WILL hold a clipboard for at least 2 years.

Or he might just go to a team that doesn't need a QB but wants him and they will make him a TE or maybe a outside LB.

His athletic ability is too high to pass on. I think the steelers might even think about it, reports here are that Tomlin wants him, he spent a few hours at the steelers facility after his pro day.

Reports from my buddies back in Oakland is that the Raiders would like him as the possible future QB. Especially with how Hue Jackson worked with Joe Flacco and help make him one the better QBs in the league.
