No signal after standby

I believe my model is dish622


I recently moved my sat and I have a dual tv Dvr. Everything is fine on tv1 until the Dvr returns from stand by mode. There is "no signal" after sleep mode. I haven't hooked up TV2 yet but as far as I know it's all the same as before. I can get tv back by going to setup, point dish, and check switch then it re downloads everything and its fine until it enters sleep mode again. Also I can't seem to switch the Dvr to single mode, on the front panel nothing happens.


I've rebooted and reseated my card. Does anyone know something I can do to fix this. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks

Did you do this install yourself?
When you run the check switch test what lnbf/switch does it say you are using?
If it is a DPP lnbf/switch
At the back of your receiver you should also have a silver seporator(looks like a spliter) which connects to both sat inputs.

It kinda makes me think you ate not recieving both sat feeds to the box.

Run the check switch and let us know what it shows

It is also possible you have a loose/bad connector or bad cable somewhere in your setup.

Hi I do have the splitter which brings the sat in and goes to sat in 1/2. I did move myself. I don't really understand how it works but I'm figuring out I guess. It is a dvr625.

on the check switch summary I have

sat input 1
port: 1 2 3
sat: 119 110 x
trans: ok ok x
dev: twin twin n.c.
reception vverified
switch: dpp/twin with separator

its the exact same thing for sat input 2. Idk it's just after sleep mode I have no tv. After I run the test in check switch it downloads and is fine. Now for some reason it switched to single mode, it wouldn't for the past day, weird cause haven't changed anything. Any more ideas? Thanks!

Could be bad/old/crap cable... bad connections or the reciever or lnbf may be going out. You should get a tech out there to check it out.

DISH protection plan $7/mo. must be kept for 4mo. before cancelling, not quite free but definitely not a rip off.
