It has the wifi adapter and its connected to m home router. Just no advanced tab. How do I force an update?

Press Home 3 times to get to the Diagnostics page, go down to Tools, then go over to Upgrade Software. This may or may not actually upgrade it. Most times it works, sometimes it remains the same.

Press Home 3x on your remote. You'll see DISH Diagnostics at the top left. The software version is midway down the page.

Signal Protector is available for the Wally.

If you do not have the option in Internet > Advanced, your receiver software is out of date.

I'm going to have to check this out again. Our coaches and GET said no..Hmmmm....

Awesome! I deal with so many Dish Outdoors peeps and was really hoping this this WAS an option for them!
