Never said they had a "bad running game". I did say they have a lot riding on an injury prone back (Brown) and an aging backup (Ricky). But when healthy, they sure do have a great running game! Add to that they now have balance in the receiving game, and look out!

They are fine with the current running game. BELIEVE ME when I tell you that what lost alot of their games last yeat was NOT the offense but the defense. They in desperate at LB, S and DL. They aged rapidly.

Boller was signed because Gradkowski tore a pectoral muscle lifting weights. He's having surgery tomorrow, will miss at least 4 weeks of training and will be limited to non-contact drills during those 2 weeks.

Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf on Wednesday was sentenced to 10 years of probation after pleading guilty to eight felony drug charges in Texas.

State District Judge John B. Board also fined Leaf $20,000. Leaf pleaded guilty to seven counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud and one count of delivery of a simulated controlled substance.
