Whatever happened to that track star WR they drafted last year? Is he still on the team?
You mean that "never was" from Ohio State?![]()
You talking about Brian Robiskie? He'll be allright. Just a little learning curve at the next level.
Theisman just ripped into Jamarcus Russell on Sirius.
via @Adam_Schefter:
"I can tell you conclusively that JaMarcus Russell never will be able to play QB in the National Football League. He just doesn't get it." Theismann advocates the Raiders trading for Jason Campbell, who does get it.
he's still on the team but has been a bust so far as a WR. as a KR he's very good.he was rumored to be released this season.Whatever happened to that track star WR they drafted last year? Is he still on the team?
Theisman is a pu*** and hates just about ANYONE that is not a Redskin or FORMER Redskin.

GOD NO. That guy is soft. IF we get another QB, he has to be quick on his feet(because he might be running for his life, ALOT! LOL!) and sturdy(when the defense finally catches up to him after all his running).

yep. i never liked this pick but look at who made itTrack star maybe .... that doesn't make him a football star.
He wasn't even a star WR at the horseshoe.

After swinging and ultimately missing in their attempt to land Donovan McNabb, here's where the Oakland Raiders stand at quarterback.
They're committing to JaMarcus Russell, who's one of the biggest draft busts in recent NFL history.
The Raiders are trying to build up Russell's confidence through new offensive coordinator Hue Jackson.
And the Raiders told AOL Fanhouse, through an unnamed team executive, that it's Russell's job to lose and that the former LSU star has been made aware of that stance.
"There has been such a lack of confidence in this team as a whole," the exec said. "The intangibles need to be rebuilt. It's awful. The great teams go out there and know they will win; the good teams think they can, the average teams hope they can and the bottom ones hope they don't lose too badly.
"I don't think it's bottom now for us. But we have to develop an attitude, a belief as a team and organization of winning thinking and preparation. That has to come from JaMarcus and from his position. It's his job to lose. He is aware of that."
And now the public is aware of that fact, too.
The Raiders were pleased with Bruce Gradkowski's work under center before he injured his knee, and Gradowski has repeatedly said he's under the impression that he would get a chance to compete for the job.
At this point, though, Russell will need to falter again for Gradkowski to get another shot.
From NFP... looks like we're back to 'It's Jamarcus's to lose'
Let's be real here. GOING INTO last year, with the way the Raiders finished and....it was a no brainer that it JM had tons of upside and he was on his way. BUT, after Fat Boy's season LAST YEAR.....it's still GRIM REAPER's call after all the money he spent.
....AT LEAST say that the damn position is open for competition in public. More than likely, the IDEA of "open for competion" came from Cable because he LIKES Gradkowski....and his choice IS Bruce. THIS just show's WHO the owners choice is.
Is there a reason they don't hire a "real" GM? Is Davis that big of an egomaniac?
