NFL - Bills Head Coach just Fired

High-profile coaches don't automatically equal on-the-field improvement.

See Johnson, Jimmy: the Miami Years. 5 years, 2 playoff wins.

Yes, but you have to admit Shanny would probably find a way to bring a high-octane offense back to Buffalo. You like explosive offensives, don't you?

When there are coaches like Shanahan, Holmgren, Gruden, and Cowher up for positions, no, they shouldn't bring in a random minority to interview to satisfy a rule.
Theres no way Cowher or Shanahan want anything to do with these lost causes in Cleveland, Buffalo or Oakland. I just cant believe they would want that.

If Shanahan truly wants to get back at Denver, he just might pick Buffalo, rather than Washington or Dallas if Ralph handed him the keys to franchise like he did to Donahue back 9 years ago. Dallas and Washington might out spend Buffalo by wide margins, however with their constant owner interfernce in the Coach/Management of the team, doesn't necessarily make those franchise the cream of the crop to work at.

Shanahan and Buffalo, will assure him a chance to play Denver and remind them of the past mistake Denver made.

It's amazing how many Super Bowl winning coaches are out there still working with the league, which means all are possible to come back and coach/run a franchise again.

I don't see any great coach wanting to work for Dan Synder. Snyder is THE problem in Washington.

Snyder and Jerry Jones would both seem to be in the same situation, where they always want to tell the Football People how to run their organization

Jerry Jones has accomplished more than Snyder.

Jerry Jones- Three Super Bowls

Dan Snyder- Three playoff appearances

Jones is not as heavy a money spender in free agency as Snyder. Consider- while the Cowboys quietly acquired Keith Brooking, the Redskins broke the bank to sign Albert Haynesworth.

What is wrong with the Cleveland Indians?
