I was at that game! LOL... My best friend and his parents were/are huge Browns fans and have had season tickets since the late 1960s. I lived in western NY at the time and my buddy's dad was president of the biggest Browns fan club outside of Ohio. They would drive into Cleveland either every night before or early on Sunday mornings before their home games.
I was giddy the entire 5 hour drive home.

I had NEVER been colder than that day. And I went through a spell when I lived in Chicago that the high was only -11. It was horrible...and great at the same time. I have since then have never gone to any sporting event that was colder and 50 degrees.

my poor dad had cups of coffee he kept getting just to hold on to. the wife spent most of the game happily going to get them and hot chocolate for us. about 4 years later there was a vote on a dome that lost,if it would have been built the Browns would not have moved. but it was a one guy put together project and all the other politicians did not have hands in it and did not support it.
did go to game 3 of the 1997 World Series it was cold with that lake wind again but i was bundled up big time, so much so my dog did not know who i was when i got home and came after me. like a 2 year old if i fell down don't know if i could have got up LOL
South Florida will do that to ya !
Lived in Chicago for 7 years and western NY for 9 years, I did my time, thank you! LOL! Besides, football to me is football, regardless of the weather.

Oh wait, everyone outside of the Big Ten teams are against that.
They could at least have the Playoff games at the home teams field instead of moving them to wherever they decided.
Jimbo... No real fans go to these bowl games. Only 30% of fans and alumni get tickets to these games....the rest are corporate sponsors.
