Steven Ridley is miles better than Blount, if he makes the roster he will be a short yardage back at best.
I can't imaginve Blount starting in front of Ridley or Vereen this year unless there are some injuries. I see him mostly getting goal line touches.
For a second, I thought football season was over for me before it even started. Per Adam Schefter: TB12 had an MRI that was negative and will be day to day. Does anyone know if Bernard Pollard signed with the Bucs?? Time to exhale..........
I think BB will break camp with 5 backs: Ridley, Shane Vereen, Blount, Brandon Bolden and Leon Washington.
I can't imagine Ridley or Vereen starting in front of Blount this year unless he's injured. BB will like a back that punishes the opposition as he gains yards and has the D line wanting the game to be over by the strat of 4th Q.

Head injury to Ryan Mallett,possible knee injury to Tom Brady? looks like a "higher force" than BB is trying to get Tim Tebow into the starting line-up. I bet this possible scenario is getting a lot of Pat fans "Tebowing" for Brady AND Mallett's good health.

This reminds me of a movie about this member of British royalty during the middle ages(I think it starred Vincent Price) who had a replica of all of the people who stood between him & the throne & each time he eliminated one of his rivals,he'd burn the replica of that person & move his replica closer to the throne(or in this case,Tebow moving his replica closer to the starting QB position).

Blount has 0% chance of starting. You're basing this off 1 preseason game and run against 2nd string defenders. Ridley had almost 1300 yards last year, He is and will be the Patriots option 1 at RB.
not at all i base it off his history in the NFL on a crap team. now with a top team he will shine imo

Well... I think NOW the Raiders will have to start the MORE mobile Terrell Pryor. With the loss of our best OL in Veldheer with a torn tricep.. Flynn will be running for his life.
