NFL 2013 Season

TNF is on pace for record ratings, up more than 25% YOY, and unlike Saturdays can go all season.

Crazy thing will be if they end up exclusive to Google/Netflix or something like some are speculating.

While I'd never complain about more games on TV, DirecTV won't be very happy about this possibility. Their pool of Sunday Ticket games would get even smaller, further diluting their product.
seems this is what the NFL is after. More isn't always better for the consumer. Look at the NBA and MLB. Two sports where less games would equal to a more enjoyable regular season. I enjoyed the 2012 NBA season more than I had in awhile because there were less games. That's me as I don't look at everything with $:$

Supposedly, the league wants to make sure that every team is inconvenienced with a short week by playing a Thursday game. Looks like they would have 13 weeks of doubleheaders and the Thanksgiving tripleheader to involve all 32 teams...

The more football the better I always say. If you put games on Saturday then you have to compete with college football.

Seems to me like Goodell wants to eventually get rid of Sunday Ticket and make as many or all NFL games to become nationally televised. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised to see Tuesday and Wednesday night games in the near future either on NBCSN or Fox Sports 1. I could be totally wrong but that's my prediction.

I myself would love to have football on every night. With college football its almost true. There was a game on ESPN2 last night. I like to bet on sports so I love it.

Vikings name Josh Freeman as started on Monday night

boy ESPN must be excited...1-4 Vikes against 0-6 Giants this Monday night

Maybe ESPN made them an offer to start Freeman so there could be some kind of excitement for this game. LOL

That would be a scheduling nightmare.

Goodell probably wouldn't care less as long as him and the league would make more money.

I see Goodall and company are padding thier check books again, fining Suh again, for a hit that wasn't even called a penalty.

There comes a time when you get the feeling that the Commish and company just doesn't like you and puts you under the microscope, unjustly ...

He's been scrutinized every week by the Commish, does he bother to watch anyone else ?

Helmet into the sternum of a qb will almost always draw a fine.

Lets see, you can't hit them high, shoulders or above, you can't hit them anywhere around the knees (for obvious reasons) or above, so where exactly CAN you hit them, can't hit them in the chest ....
