For making Denver sweat it out more than I expected, I'm picking the Jags to beat San Diego next week.

I thought they'd get run out of the building- the game wasn't put away until MUCH later than I thought.

This was beautiful when the Pats scored the winning TD :)

What a game bill! You guys looked done but it's never over when you have Brady. What a night for Boston fans with 2 comeback wins :D

OOFF!!! I know what pick not to make this week.... :D :p

Thad Lewis, EJ Manuel, Matt Flyn, Jeff Tuel- one of these QB's will have to face the Saints in 2 weeks when New Orleans is off the bye.

There's QB luck, there's QB transistional greatness, and then there's the Bills post-Bledsoe

Not saying that Manual is the next Jim Kelly, but I think he's gonna be a very good NFL QB.

I was impressed with Nick Foles yesterday. He rushed for one td and threw 3 tds,no ints. Two of the throws were simply pretty. He is has shown he can run Chip's offense just as well, possibly even better than Vick.vick still isn't 100%,so Foles may get the start against the Cowgirls,if he performs that well again,Vick could lose his starting job.

Big win for the Panthers yesterday,if they could just do it consistently.

Rex Ryan on brother Rob and losing to New England "It was a horrible day for the Ryan family. It's a good thing my dad is out of coaching. It was tough. ... You want every team in your division to lose, in particular New England".

All I got to say is this, " Yo Ryans... who's your daddy?!?!?!?!"

Cheers, K

I picked the Colts in my pick'em leagues but had a feeling yesterday about SD so I placed a bet on them. Looks like another winner! :D

So the Chargers DON'T choke on Monday Night Football for a change.

Is that what you said on the other site? Thought maybe you posted " My chargers came through just as i predicted! ":eek::eek::eek: :p

See ya this weekend buddy! Who ya got? Say the bills say the bills! :D

Heard earlier today that Josh Cribbs will be signing with the Bills.

No wait, I think it was the Jets, not the Bills.

Just heard it on the radio earlier, was busy working, think it was the Jets.

The WSJ is reporting that the NFL is considering adding a Thursday night game every week, making the night a doubleheader.

While I'd never complain about more games on TV, DirecTV won't be very happy about this possibility. Their pool of Sunday Ticket games would get even smaller, further diluting their product.

These Thursday night games are a money grab, but the ratings aren't soaring.

They threw away double-digit ratings from the old nationally televised December Saturday games for high single-digit cable ratings.

Think about it- remember the Ravens/Cowboys Texas Stadium farewell in December 2008? You put that on CBS to go to everyone instead of the limited NFL Network- seriously, they are throwing away blockbuster ratings when they made the change.

Players to my knowledge NEVER really had a beef with the old Saturday games late in the year when you would have 6 days between games, not 4.

For instance, the Patriots/Dolphins regular season game on Foxboro in December 2001- it was better as a national standalone than a decent cable rating.
