NFL 2013 Season

The Jets will not play as well on Thursday as the Bills did on Sunday. Buffalo gives the Pats fits here and there the last few years (even the blowout last September wasn't blown open until the 4th quarter).

The Pats have dominated the division for a decade, but all three teams have given the Pats fits here and there. The Jets have won 5 games (including a playoff game) at Gillette Stadium since it opened in 2002, that's far and away more than any other opponent. And no offense, but IMO, the Bills did not play "well" yesterday....both teams sucked!!

Steelers lost 3 key players to injury yesterday, all of them out for the season.

Gonna be a long season ...

They placed center Maurkice Pouncey (torn ACL, MCL), linebacker Larry Foote (torn biceps) and halfback LaRod Stephens-Howling (torn ACL) on injured reserve. All will have surgery to repair their injuries and will not play again this season.

They also lost thier kicker for a unknown period of time.

Wow,that sucks! The Eagles have had that sort of luck last couple of seasons, but certainly not 3 in one game.I still question why the Steelers dropped Dwyer? He looked solid in the preseason.

Steelers dropped Dwyer because of his fumbling issues ...
Then the rest go out and fumble the ball yesterday ...

Fwiw, Steelers signed Dwyer again today or yesterday.

Dwyer had a few teams looking at him last week, fortunately for the Steelers, no one signed him.

Heres a vote for NFL MNF to move to 7 pm. :D

I can actually watch the game, the whole game, won't see much of the next game , if any, but at least I can see A game.

I like this start time much better too. I'm sure the west coasters aren't too fired up about a 4:00pm start time though.

True.

Ya know, they could have flexible start times, if they are a west coast team playing out there, start the game at 8, any others, start at 7.

That said, this game might not be over till 11 anyways, they have a whole quarter to go and it's 9:40, lucky to be done by 10:30.

The Eagles ran out to a big lead and are running the ball well .... they should be able to run the clock and wrap up this game, but the Redskins keep coming.

With this game winding down, but still over 4 minutes to go, the other game is scheduled to start at 10:25 .... the Ticker says can be seen on espn3, whats wrong with espn2 ?
Sportscenter is the only thing on at the moment and thats just filler till 11 usually.

edit:

They changed the ticker and it's now gonna start on espn2.

Chargers pick off Schaub on the first play from scrimmage. On the second play from scrimmage Philip Rivers throws a TD pass. 7-0 Chargers

This game between the Texans & the Chargers seems anti-climatic to the previous Eagles-Redskins game. I'm tempted to watch my Under the Dome & Siberia recordings on my DVR.

I hope you padded your "UTD" recording, there was some tennis on running late today.

Well just in case,I have amazon Prime so I can watch it free there. As far as the Philadelphia Eagles go,they looked good on week one,but I want to see if they can still play at this pace on week 16. I wonder if they'll get beat up playing this style. 17 weeks is a long time in the NFL.
