Not a fan, but probably better than the QB we would have picked with our second pick.

Only consolation for me is we have a coach that tends to get the most from his QBs.

Hope it works out. I think He'll be better than cassel for sure......

I think it's a good move for KC.Probably the best Qb they could get for now anyway.KC has a solid O-line,plus great rbs, good situation for Smith.

If he doesn't take "Credit" then they lose, why should he get "Credit" when they win ?

Not directing it at you, just making the statement ...

Yea,I know what you mean. What I mean is I will give plenty of credit for the Dallas Cowboy failures.;)

To me, this years draft was not even decently populated with a bunch of good QBs. I think under the right coaching and system, he can be a very successfull QB. He has the right coach in place. Now, I think it is imperative they sign Dwayne Bowe.

Until Kansas City traded for Smith, one site was projecting that they would pick Geno Smith with their FIRST round pick(now they're projecting that the Raiders will do that.Actually,Geno Smith is the only QB projected to go in the first round). Maybe it was good that they got him in a trade, because as a free agent,I bet he would have gone to the Cardinals.

Raiders will NOT draft the smoke screen of a QB in Geno Smith.

He took credit for firing Ryan. Seriously that guy is just scary... loosely reminds me of the Emperor without a lighsaber

As I've said before,I've had a problem with him since the very poor way that he treated Tom Landry almost immediately once he bought the Cowboys. He bought the team around 1992 right? I'm not trying to get political, but I remember how he & Jimmy Johnson were being hailed as "two more good things that came out of Arkansas" at the time.

I'm surprised that nobody has started a separate thread on the upcoming NFL draft. Is it because nobody in the draft this year stands out......at any position, like Andrew Luck & RGIII did last year? There's a Ghanian born defensive end(I can't think of his name without having to look it up right now) who is being projected to be drafted by the Detroit Lions, does any Lions fans have an opinion about that, besides "what's his name"? How about Manti Te'o? I sure hope that he doesn't end up on the "homophobic" San Francisco 49ers(how's THAT for irony?).

Shoot, the draft isn't till April,we free agency to go through first.;)

miami being under the cap 45 mil to sign free agents and having the 1st 5 picks in the top 82, its a make or break season for good old jeff. no more excuses, get it done this year or GET OUT! no 8-8 or 9-7. at the very least 10 wins or bust.

A little birdie told me not to be surprised if Brian Hartline ends up replacing Brandon Lloyd in New England. Shhhhh!
