It's been awhile since the Steelers won a Superbowl, they need to win one this year.

Been even longer for the Eagles, they did win an NFL title but never won the SB.Way,way overdue!

I know I am so pumped(and jacked) for Sunday at 1pm.

I'll flip NBC on at 8:35 and skip all the banner raising crap so I can keep my dinner down.

Sent from my iPad using SatelliteGuys

:excited:

yeah baby!

Hart5150, I dont mind the banner raising since Im a Giants fan. The Cowboys are giving the Giants a run for there money so far.

Have we done who we think are going to the playoffs and winning the Super Bowl?

I don't see a repeat from the Giants this year..................

maybe not but they've proved us wrong before. with them i've learned to wait until they're officially dead ;)

Yes, after 1 game. They have more issues than they would like to admit, and they have stiff competition in the NFC.

I just don't see it.

Every team has stiff competition. And everyone has more issues than they like to admit....lol! Nobody is perfect, everyone knows it and they are bust their a$$ to make sure no one knows it! Your Broncos have a very tough schedule...if they lose to Steelers ..will you proclaim the same thing? If my Raiders lose to SD, I sure as hell ain't proclaiming it.

The Giants just didn't look good last night. An off night, maybe, but they didn't look good. I could be completely wrong, just a gut feeling!

If the Broncos lose to the Steelers, it will make it much harder for them going forward, their early schedule is brutal.

As far as the Raiders, you might as well already proclaim it! They ain't going anywhere near the Super Bowl! :amen: :neener

too early to make predictions imo. about week 5 we'll know better who's who. only guarantee any of us can make is that miami will not make the playoffs :D . oh and no need to fear the bills :p

Yea first game of the season way too early to call.Even though I despise the Giants you can never count Manning and Coughlin out.9 wins may take the NFC east again this year, hard to say but,it's all about getting in the playoffs and getting hot. They have won 2 Lombardi's by doing exactly that.

If the Cowboys can avoid so many penalties and Romo can play like he did the 2nd half the Cowboys have a decent shot at winning 10 games this year.

Usually after week 5, nfl.com posts the playoff picture. And I'll post it here every week just like I did last year.:yes

My comment on this year's Lions schedule

I gotta say after looking at the Lions schedule, I think the 2nd half of the season will have a better outcome than the 1st half. Why? Because in the 1st half, the Lions will have to deal with 3 big road games against the 49ers, Eagles, and Bears. The Bye in Week 5 will help in the short-term but I still think week 5 is too early to have a bye for any team (I understand though that the NFL has to spread them out) The 2nd half of the schedule is better because most of the bigger games are happening at home, with the exception of heading to Green Bay in week 14.

My hope is 16-0
Worst case scenario would be 9-7
My realistic prediction is 13-3
