NFL 2012-13 Season

I hate the Giants, but they did lose to the Redskins and Eagles at home last year and I think they only counted as 1.

Yeah but they then won in Philadelphia :p

Redskins had their number though and beat them in Washington too.

Until you play your 2nd, a loss to a division rival is effectively 2 losses since you lose the tiebreaker. Huge in a 16 game schedule when you fail to protect your home field vs division foes.

I gotta say after looking at the Lions schedule, I think the 2nd half of the season will have a better outcome than the 1st half. Why? Because in the 1st half, the Lions will have to deal with 3 big road games against the 49ers, Eagles, and Bears. The Bye in Week 5 will help in the short-term but I still think week 5 is too early to have a bye for any team (I understand though that the NFL has to spread them out) The 2nd half of the schedule is better because most of the bigger games are happening at home, with the exception of heading to Green Bay in week 14.

My hope is 16-0
Worst case scenario would be 9-7
My realistic prediction is 13-3

I agree about the Byes, I think they should make them all in weeks 7, 8 and 9.

If the Cowboys can avoid so many penalties and Romo can play like he did the 2nd half the Cowboys have a decent shot at winning 10 games this year.

They better hope and pray that the offensive line improves! When they meet the Eagles,Romo may need a flak jacket! The Giants have a solid D line but nowhere near the depth that the Eagles do.They were gassed last night.

You do know the schedules can be found almost anywhere online, right?

Of course ... seeing you looked for the end, thought you might have looked for the beginning too :)

Ok, I looked, they do start in week 4 .... way too early, but helpful for those that had rough Pre Seasons as well.

I like the way the schedules look, at least for SF. Last year they had a rough schedule travel wise. Went from SF to Baltimore within 4 days to play Thanksgiving night game, plus 4 early 1 eastern games, 1 was a back to back.

I like having the last 3 weeks I believe as divisional matchups. Makes the division more exciting.
