NFL 2009-10 Season

I dunno. I think Big Jenn will regress this year. Hines is a year older. Santonio will probably be arrested before all is said and done.

Typically Super Bowl teams flutter in the next year. Look for this division to be more competitive in '09.

IMO only the Pigeons have a chance to win the division. The Bungles are just bad and your coach wants to have a fire sale.

We already know about the Monday Night Football doubleheader on opening week (Bills/Pats, Chargers/Raiders), but here's the rest of it:

Week 2- Colts/Dolphins (Right off the bat; that division title got them much respect!)

Week 3- Panthers/Cowboys (Can Smash and Dash wreck the Cowboys' home opener?)

Week 4- Packers/Vikings

Week 5- Jets/Dolphins

Week 6- Broncos/Chargers

Week 7- Eagles/Redskins

Week 8- Falcons/Saints

Week 9- Steelers/Broncos

Week 10- Ravens/Browns (Browns won twice on Monday Night last year, and we know how HD feels about the Rat Birds)

Week 11- Titans/Texans

Week 12- Patriots/Saints (This could be the best of the bunch)

Week 13- Ravens/Packers

Week 14- Cardinals/49ers

Week 15- Giants/Redskins

Week 16- Vikings/Bears

Your thoughts, guys?

What? No Lion's?:( Screw it, I ain't watching none of these games!
Why does Detroit have to suffer alone? The rest of you guys shouldn't get off the hook so easy. It's hard being a Lion's fan. Hell, it's hard being me.

The Steelers win the Superbowl and they get 1 Monday night game, that is freaking ridiculous.

The Packers didn't even make the playoffs and they get 2.:mad::mad:

I'm no Steeler fan, but I do agree with him.

Green Bay gets all the good slots no matter their record.

according to espn, the miami dolphins will have the toughest schedule in the NFL this season. i guess we'll see what they're really made out of. the titans followed the fins with the toughest schedule for 09.

Seeing the Dolphins schedule got WAY tougher.....AND they have made NO major improvements at the areas they needed the most.....I would be surprised if they reach .500 in all honesty.....:(

Who is going to be better to make it more competitive ...
The Browns have 2 QB's and ya know what they say about having 2 QB's, you don't have any.

Quinn will be traded before the season starts.
You recently drafted 2 big time rec.'s Edwards and Winslow, you've lost both ....

Who is whoevers left at QB going to throw to ?

As for the Steeler's dropping off because SB winners usually do ?
Steeler's won the SB in '06 .... in '07 they went 10-6 and won thier division. :up

Did they trade Edwards? I thought he was still there.

What's the latest on Quinn? I'm telling you - have your "guy" call my "guy". I would love to have him here in Detroit.

I'm hoping Mangini is just blowing smoke signals to throw other teams off with the draft approaching. I really think BQ is our future and I'd hate to see him go after all the work he's put in "learning the game" from the bench. He's ready to lead a team NOW! Why the hell would we trade the poor kid?

Why would Denver trade Cutler? That's your answer grasshopper.;)

Cutler didn't want to be in Denver.

Brady Quinn is the ONE person since Bernie Kosar that actually wanted to be here! Remember the photos on draft day? He deserves better.....

That was part of it. It was more of a rhetorical answer. But the boat load of players Denver got was another part. Quinn may also be more valuable on the trading block than on the bench, if Anderson is Mangini's choice.

Am i insensitive for laughing when I read this? Wonder if the Xmas teams complained cause they're playing on a major Christian holiday....

First two Home Jets games are in September, what Jewish Holiday are they on ?

The Associated Press: Jets upset about home games on Jewish holidays

The Jets' home opener is Week 2 against New England at 1 p.m. on Sept. 20, which falls during Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. New York then plays Tennessee at 4:15 p.m. the following Sunday, with Yom Kippur, the Jewish day of atonement, beginning at sundown.

In the letter to Goodell, owner Woody Johnson suggested the game against the Titans be changed to a 1 p.m. start to give Jewish fans time to arrive home before sundown.

The Fox affiliate here in Boston was doing a story on children suffering from depression this morning.

Former Lions quarterback, Eric Hipple was the guest, and he was speaking of his own experiences with his 15 year old son who committed suicide back in 2000.

Hipple said he hit rock bottom following his son's death, (as a parent myself.....who wouldn't?) and spent two months in jail following a drunk driving conviction. It was during that period that Hipple was diagnosed with a mental illness himself.

Hipple now travels the country educating people on the signs and dangers of untreated mental illness.

It was very heartwarming to see this man, who has lost so much, turn his life around to try and help others! :up

Kudos, Eric Hipple! :)
