NFL 2009-10 Season

Raiders have a rough away schedule in December (@Steelers, Redskins, @Broncos, @Browns), and Chiefs play the entire NFC East back to back starting week 3 (@Eagles, Giants, Cowboys @Redskins).

Even if we split our first 2 games (at Baltimore, vs Raiders) that's a rough 4 game stretch for a developing team... well any team really.

Cleveland has the eighth-easiest schedule.

That includes game with the mediocre NFC North and the horrific AFC West.

Combine that with two Bengal games- that's 10 wins already for the Brownies!

I don't know about the "easiest" schedule. According to this link at NFL.com, the Browns have the 25th raked schedule or 8th easiest. The Bears seem to be the consensus team with the "easiest" schedule.

But either way, this is a bad time to rebuild a team like Mangini seems to be doing. Hopefully we can still compete this year.

Take strength-of-schedule calculations with a grain of salt

We already know about the Monday Night Football doubleheader on opening week (Bills/Pats, Chargers/Raiders), but here's the rest of it:

Week 2- Colts/Dolphins (Right off the bat; that division title got them much respect!)

Week 3- Panthers/Cowboys (Can Smash and Dash wreck the Cowboys' home opener?)

Week 4- Packers/Vikings

Week 5- Jets/Dolphins

Week 6- Broncos/Chargers

Week 7- Eagles/Redskins

Week 8- Falcons/Saints

Week 9- Steelers/Broncos

Week 10- Ravens/Browns (Browns won twice on Monday Night last year, and we know how HD feels about the Rat Birds)

Week 11- Titans/Texans

Week 12- Patriots/Saints (This could be the best of the bunch)

Week 13- Ravens/Packers

Week 14- Cardinals/49ers

Week 15- Giants/Redskins

Week 16- Vikings/Bears

Your thoughts, guys?

The Steelers win the Superbowl and they get 1 Monday night game, that is freaking ridiculous.

The Packers didn't even make the playoffs and they get 2.:mad::mad:

Dude, you've got 5 prime-time games total. That's enough.

2 Thursday Night games.
2 Sunday Night games.
1 Monday Night game.

Monday night is where the best teams play, the Packers can have the Thursday night games and give the Steelers the two Monday night games.

They will win the division, there isn't any good teams except for the Steelers in the division.;):D

OK Rey, say it.:D

I dunno. I think Big Jenn will regress this year. Hines is a year older. Santonio will probably be arrested before all is said and done.

Typically Super Bowl teams flutter in the next year. Look for this division to be more competitive in '09.
