NFL 2009-10 Season

It's cyclical, the whole league slowly transitions to the flavor of the month defense (see also: Tampa 2) and currently the 3-4 is becoming more favored in a league that is very pass friendly.

This is also one of the reasons I personally think they need to look at the overtime rules again, every year they make more rules to hinder the defense in the name of competition or safety.

Horrible personal foul called on the Chiefs allowed the Raiders to extend a drive and take the lead with 1 minute left.

JaMarcus tried to scramble and fell down on his own, 2 guys covered him up and they were called for a personal foul.

Incredibly, the Jets beat the Patriots.

They held them without a touchdown.

Looks like Rex Ryan and Kerry Rhodes walked the walk.

They certainly did..................kudos to them.

It's the first time since Sept. 11, 2000 that the Jets have beaten the Pats at the Meadowlands.

It doesn't get any easier for the Pats either. They host Atlanta and Baltimore the next two weeks at the Razor.

Well...it was ugly as all hell! BUT, a win is a win! I don't give a rats ass about "style points"!! And I am sure the Raiders will take it too. For as absolutely terrible as JaMarcus looked, when we needed a drive for the winning score, he delivered. For the 2nd week in a row, the defense bent, but did not break....and that as ALL I ask for.

SeaBas, the accuracy is pretty decent...but without a doubt, the strongest leg in the entire NFL.

From the guy that thinks Stallworth caused the accident and that Murphy catch was a TD, it wouldn't surprise me.

Sorry, but I have never rubbed a victory in anyone's face and not gonna do it now.

....though you may deserved it after you pulled THAT comment out of your a$$. IF you have been here long enough junior, I have never bad mouth anyone's teams when they are down considering what MY favorite teams have done.

I will leave it at that...!

The Texans came up with arguably the biggest win in franchise history........34-31 over the Titans in Tennessee.

Ya well apparently the Jets won the Super Bowl today.

Well, in their defense (did I seriously just say that  :p), they haven't beaten the Patriots in like forever at home.

I think they (as well as their fans) are entitled to blow off some steam. ;)

I hate to stick up for them too....but they played well...they deserve to celebrate a little.

....I think I just threw-up in my mouth!!:yikes:shocked

Raiders OT Robert Gallery has told a reporter he has a broken leg.

Redskins may have lost Guard Randy Thomas, and I haven't been watching the game but saw Hasselback writhing in pain on the sideline after being hit in the back.

I benched Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson on my Fantasy Football team- Schaub had 357 passing yards and 4 TD's while Johnson had 2 TD's and 149 yards on 4 receptions.:rant::eek:
