Make that 1995. The Panthers beat the Cowboys in the playoffs in 96. I should know since I was there.Sorry, but no way.

If that scores holds up, the last place team in the AFC East will have the same record as the first place team in the AFC West!
it was a bit ugly but i'll take this win for sure. The D did a good job holding down the denver running game and the secondary was alright but some of that was on denvers offense miscues.
Bill was referring to the NFC wild-card game Dallas won to set up the Carolina game- 40-15 over the Vikings on December 28, 1996.
The Carolina/Dallas divisional playoff game was on January 5, 1997.
