NFL 2008-09 Season

Without knowing who the next GM is going to be, it's hard to say. But you can bet it won't be a WR. With the chance to pick 1st or 2nd, personally I would be looking at the best QB available. After that my picks would be almost all defense. I'd look to free agents and the cut lists for some O-line help. I want experience on the O-line protecting my "franchise", and some defense to cover my ass from the mistakes my franchise will make with the ball. It will take 3 seasons to undo the mess Millen made with this franchise. Of course my first move would be a semi truck full of cash parked in front of Bill Cohwer's house.

Paul,
The Lions have already done the Free Agent route for an O Line, look what that got us .... Foster and the guy from Indy can't remember his name...

Do they have more than one 1st rd pick ?
Of course that also have went with the DRAFT an O line already too.

I wish Tressel could draft a O Line ....

Yeah, but Millen was doing the hiring then, enough said. Damion Woody was a free agent from New England, Foster (False start) came from that idiotic trade of Bly to Denver. We also got Tatum Bell who did his best running with Rudi Johnson's luggage.

WAY over.

If you thought Giants/Browns and Broncos/Patiots were lopsided, this will be a bloodbath on the field- the Colts will be pummeled.

Remember when Jacksonville stampeded all over the Colts in 2006? This will be just like that.

Well about your predictions ......

So far we have an upset in the making ...
At the half it's 7-6, awfully lopsided isn't it ?

For any of you who haven't seen the Mike Singletary presser....Singletary

I know that is was in his heart and believes what he says....but that was all show.
You gonna tell me that he could convey the SAME MESSAGE in private. What that little presser did was deflect AWAY from the fact that the 49ers were NOT prepared to play against one of the 2 or 3 worst teams in the league. And THAT lies on the coach...but instead of talking about how bad that team looked against a team that has ALOT LESS TALENT than they did....everyone is talking about how 'he took charge of the lockerroom'....

Indy plays New England.

A year ago, this was THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOTBALL GAME EVER!

Now, it's the third biggest game on the day (behind Giants/Cowboys and Packers/Titans), but I still remember the last time Cassel went on the road in primetime. He HAS to play better than he did against San Diego.
