NFL 2008-09 Season

I am here to admit (this is really hard), that the Browns season is now officially over. We are getting humiliated by the Rat's right now. This team has lost all confidence and the wheels have officially fallen off. This is especially depressing because going into the season, there was so much promise with this team.

There is going to be tremendous fallout from starting 0-3 (0-2) in the division. I wouldn't be surprised if either Romeo Crennel is fired or Derek Anderson is replaced with Brady Quinn.

Woe is Cleveland. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

HD MM,

I truly am sorry. I had the Browns winning that division at 11-5, and I know it sucks that they're off to a poor start. It doesn't look good currently, but then again the entire AFC is upside down right now, so you never know..........

I never understood the hype for Cleveland. It's like when people were saying the Lions would make the playoffs last year. I mean they're the Browns!

These Colts remind me of the old-school Broncos.

They live and die with their QB in pressure situations.

As for the AFC South, I think the Colts better focus on their two games with the Titans.

I can't believe the Jags are on the verge of going 0-3.

Right now, the road through the AFC East will run through Buffalo.

Oh, and I think the Panthers are going to fade fast. Stewart had a TD, but neither he or Williams got more than 8 yards today, and Delhomme was not as razor sharp.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but watch out for the Falcons. They look like a team that can do damage, with Ryan and Turner the Burner.

Bill, I appreciate your condolences, but I really cannot begin to describe the sick feeling I have in my stomach right now. This is REALLY depressing. I know that time heals all wounds, but this awful start is real tough to take.

In a previous thread I talked about how '07 was my favorite year as a sport's fan in Cleveland. 2007 was even coined "The Season of Dreams" by a local sports talk show host. Well, I think I have a new moniker for the 2008 sports season in Cleveland: "The Season of Disappointment"!

Steelers/Eagles my nominee for 'Biggest Dud of the Day.'

I thought this would be a high-scoring game. Instead, Saints-Broncos is the Game of the Week (for now).

Steelers not looking good in Philly- at least HD gets a moral victory.

Oh, and kudos to anyone bold enough to have Brian Griese on their fantasy team.

Bill, game ain't over yet.

Four seconds left- do the Colts have a Cribbs or Hester-like returner?

EDIT- I stand corrected. Game over.

The Colts are WINLESS in their new stadium- so much for 'new field, good results.'
