NFL 2007-08 Season

And the OAKLAND RAIDERS are "ON the CLOCK"

Lions win 36-21

jimbo

Blown game by our "awesome" field goal kicker...2 missed field goals a block and countless errors. Game that as bad as our defense looked, that could have easily been won .....with 3 missed field goals....

Oh well, those are the breaks.....Daunte will be starting by game 3.

Ugh! And I was stuck watching the Pitt-Cleve semi-annual massacre. I'm so gonna have to call Dish to schedule a "move" to Denver. I really hate listening to the game via KOA radio's webcast.

Alas, I doubt you are in the spot-beam. :)

Look for the highlights of the last play; how they managed to get the kicking team on the field, and pull that off in such a short amount of time was pretty damn impressive. It was the highlight of the game.

Except that while Cutler is still very much a rookie, he looks good; he is not afraid to run with the ball, and he is NOT Jake the Snake. But the team has changed so much in the past two years, it hardly feels like the Broncos. :D

Unless I'm mistaken, the Denver SD locals are on a Conus beam. Not entirely sure about the HD locals :)

Is this the same Kicker your team took with a first round pick awhile back ?

Detroit's kicker Jason Hanson has been going strong for 17 years now, out of Washington State I think it was.
As for Daunte, your probably pretty accurate with that.

btw, Cleveland 's QB's were so poor that I thought they were going to bring in Brady , the fans were chanting for him from the middle of the 1st quarter.

GOD yes, the drunk from Florida State that had a liking to younger girls..... ONLY my Raiders would take a kicker as the 17th pick OVERALL....

Holy sh*t! The Lions are in first. When was the last time we were in first this late into the season?;) I can die now, my life's complete!

Seriously, Not a bad showing, but lets see if they can beat someone good. Well, I got to go - the parade is getting started, and I don't want to miss it.

Let's do some math here. 3 missed FG's=9 pts. 21 + 9 = 30. 36 > 30.

In true Lions fashion, they did try to steal defeat from the jaws of victory. I'm hoping this isn't the highlight of the season for my Lions.

DETROIT LIONS - REBUILDING SINCE 1957 - THE FIRST BRICK IS NOW IN PLACE!

Don't hurt yourself when it's time to jump off that bandwagon. :)

Seriously though, congrats to the Lions. This was one of the two games I thought the Raiders could win.

Great Parade! Kind of short though.

The Lions usually start the season well. They came out of the gate two two years ago and beat Green Bay in their home opener and went 3-0 before they fell and lost all but one more game.

After the first three games is when you start to see the real Lions team.

That's funny, Oakland was one of the few games I thought the Lions could win. I won't hurt myself jumping off the bandwagon, I did that years ago.

COME on Jim....LMAO....they make those field goals...the team does not have to pass and therefore there's no interceptions and no fumbles by the Raiders' QB....it would have been Raiders ball and a 30-23 lead with 4 minutes left. Lets not convince yourself that it was a blowout because the Raiders were down 6 with 5 minutes left....

First off, stop calling me Jim. My name is right on the posting. I didn't call this a blowout, even though for all but 17 minutes your Raiders weren't even in the game. The Raiders made a nice comeback, but like all sh!tty teams, couldn't close it out. My surprise was that it wasn't the Lions folding like a cheap suit, but instead it was the Raiders. Face it Salsa its going to be a long season if you can't beat the Lions. It's an uphill struggle for them, the rest of the way. The fact of the matter is your guys were forced to make long FG's, the percentage of FG's made drops when you're kicking from over 40 yds., let alone 50 yds. The bottom line is they LOST TO THE LIONS! If you can't beat them, who can you beat?

17 minutes??? REALLY??!! What was the half time score...? We were OUT of it for less than a quarter....but you are so excited that you won a game that it might be clouding your memory. I have a firm grip of reality where I don't make a big deal of up or downs....we played bad enough to lose and you had to fight for your life against the team with the worse record in the league.

So seeing that you WANT to rub it it.....don't get your panties in a knot....it is one game....you are not going to win the division nor make the playoff like us and I would not be surprised if your record at the end is no different than the Raiders....but you never know...look at the quick turnaround of the Jets....very dog hits the lottery once...and your dog is due I guess....

Possibility of why Michigan lost to App State

Canseco at it again
