Jimbo, your Buckeyes are good, but not good enough to play in the NFL. ( I think you crossed threads here - par for the course for a Buckeye I suppose.)
OOOPP's !

I don't know, the Steelers hung in there pretty good with thier back up last year, while Ben was in and out.

The word for the day is: "Priceless". As in Peyton Manning's face when Vinatieri missed the field goal at the end of the game.
Damn...5 straight loses for my Raiders....ALL on either the final play or series and ended by GOD-AWFUL QB PLAY...EVEN IF we were to bring in JaMarcus....who the F*** is he going to throw two??!! This lack of playmakers goes back to 2 drafts ago...IF they would have tekken the WR Larry Fitzgerald INSTEAD of Gallery, then last year...taken Lienart INSTEAD of the useless cornerback that will remain nameless...and this year...taken Calvin Johnson INSTEAD Demarcus...and we WOULD have had weapons for NOW AND THE FUTURE...but nnnnooooooooo..... Now we have a POSSIBLE star at QB but with NO ONE to throw to WHEN he starts playing.....
Did he say that???
NO!!!!!!
This is in reference to four or five years ago when Vanderjagt was their kicker and said some things in the media that made Peyton mad. Payton replied in the media with, "I am not changing how I play because of what some idiot kicker says".
I was trying to be funny!

"Here we are," Manning said. "I'm out at my third Pro Bowl, I'm about to go in and throw a touchdown to Jerry Rice, we're honoring the Hall of Fame, and we're talking about our idiot kicker who got liquored up and ran his mouth off.
"The sad thing is, he's a good kicker. He's a good kicker. But he's an idiot."
Whatever happened to Culpepper anyway? Sorry I don't keep up with the entire league like I used to. I have a 7 month old now. I am blessed that my wife gives me enough time to follow the Lions, Steelers, and Spartans closely!

Thats OK, up till this year, the Lions had the people to throw to, but no one to get them the ball !

I wonder which would be worse?

Congratulations!! Boy or girl? I'm similarly blessed with a wife that shares my interest in the Wings, Pistons, Lions, Tigers, Michigan football, and Spartan basketball.

Lack of QB, Brady seemed to do pretty good with pedestrian rec's the last several years.
Then again, Manning did not look that good with receivers that he just met last night either ....
Jimbo
You're talking about two different things: crappy receivers and crappy receivers you've never played with before. Of those, Brady clearly had the better option.
Manning did start to look a little better in the second half (although not much).... and let's not forget you're talking about Aaron Moorehead and CRAPhonso Thorpe here, not Jabar Gaffney and Reche Caldwell - not saying those guys are pro-bowlers, but they are guys who at least have somewhat established NFL careers.
