NFL 2007-08 Season

Salsa, what do you think of the rumors of Kiffen going back to the NCAA? Rumors are a flyin'.....

Not gonna happen....The Raiders players are drinking the Kiffin cool-aid and are playing much better. Even saw our prized rookie today! Second consecutive win AND second consecutive win against a hated rival....THOUGH I must admit, I love sticking it to Mike Shana-a$$h**e every chance we get. Though those chances have been few and far between.

If Kiffen goes to Arkansas, maybe Bill Callahan will go back to the Raiders. I hear that he's available again. :)

And congrats to the Raiders for their fourth win of the season. I didn't think they'd get more than two. Thanks for knocking off Denver for us.

Go Bolts!

The team is improving....they have been in ALL games except the Chargers game. The Detroit game that they lost 36-21, they were actually down only 26-21 with 5 minutes left...

The Detoit Lions are circling the drain. What happened to the high powered offense that was supposed to average 40 pts. a game, and 5,000 yds. of passing this year? Defense? What's that? The last straw was the meet and greet the Lions players did with the Vikings in the 4th quarter during the replay challenge. Bobby Lane is rolling over in his grave.

END THE MILLEN ERROR (ERA) NOW!

Yet another fraud perpetuated on fans by the league, the refs, etc to present gift after gift to the chosen team. At least this time it was during a regular season game and not during the playoffs where its one and done.

Cowboys and Lions

So far, the Lions are doing well.
27-21 Lions in the 4th.
Cowboy D* doesn't look so great today, except for where it counts most, inside the 20.
Three times the Lions have been inside the 20 probably the 10 and came away with only 2 field goals , one was missed (very unusual for Hanson).

Cowboys are moving again, so this should be a pretty good finish !
Cowboys have gotten EVERY call today even though they are playing in Detroit, (Does the NFL want the Cowboys in the SB?),
With 5 minutes left in the 4th ther Lions finally get a call to go thier way, then replay CONFIRMED the call any way.

Indy - Ravens

With this game becoming a blowout before the half and the fact that the Ravens are OUT of the PLAYOFFS. Why don't they play the backup QB, Troy Smith so they can see what he can do for them.
He should have been playing for several weeks now ....
The Ravens are 4-8 and trailing 30-0 with still 11:00 + in the 2nd Q.

In a 4-8 soon to be 4-9 season and the starter McNair injured and Boller not doing anything either this year , I guess it's one of those things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........

So much for Pittsburgh ....

It kills me to say this but I had a strange feeling that they were gonna away with it against Pittsburgh.:( Those other to close calls were that the Pats UNDERESTIMATED the Ravens and the Eagles. I think the Pats were psyched up to play the Steelers. I was mentioning this to my buddy who is a huge Steelers fan, I think the Pats WILL go undefeated in the regular season and then get beat in the Playoffs.

I thought Sorgi was the backup.

So much for Pittsburgh ....

You know what? I have been saying since week 7 that the only team I believe that is capable of stopping New England is Pittsburgh. Yesterday in the 1st quarter of that game, I was thinking to myself that Pittsburgh may not want to win that game. If they put all their heart, soul and talent into winning that game, if they meet again in the playoffs, New England will most likely be able to study everything the Steelers did in the regular season to overcome them in the post season.

With Polamalu playing it would have been different yesterday. I still think the Steelers would have lost if he had played, but it would have been closer. All roads to the Super Bowl in the AFC will go through New England, and I really believe that Pittsburgh is the next best team in the AFC. And they could catch the Patriots off guard if Tomlin will stop being so stubborn with his "game plan", and actually make adjustments at half time.

The Lions win the battle , lose the war. What else is new. Offense was everything they told us it would be at the season's beginning, but the defense still can't stop anyone when it matters. The Lions still have a mathematical chance at the playoffs, but what's the point, they'll lose in the first round, and Millen will get another contract extension.

END THE MIILEN ERROR (ERA) NOW!!!
DETROIT LIONS - REBUILDING SINCE 1957!!!

The final two minutes of the game were hard to watch, as you knew how it was going to come down. You could feel the big "Mo"
