Just compared my iphone Xs Max to the new iphone 11 Pro Max, both in 512GB and it looks like the new 11 is actually lower cost. That is surprising!
USB-C to lightning. The new iPhones still have lightning ports.Did I hear this correctly?------Apple will start using USB-C on the iPhone>

I just happen to be on here at the time. Thanks for the clarification. BTW I am impressed with the speed of your reply. good work.
It isn't entirely surprising. Apple seems to have caught on that they can't ask industry-leading pricing for equipment that isn't really all that revolutionary compared to their previous models and what else is out there. The absence of 5G will likely become an issue for those who upgrade every two years or less out of habit.Just compared my iphone Xs Max to the new iphone 11 Pro Max, both in 512GB and it looks like the new 11 is actually lower cost. What do you feel that you're gaining by trading in the XS Max?Since Apple will give me $600 for my Xs Max, I'm upgrading to the 11 Pro Max. With the trade-in, the new phone will be $649.
Better camera and longer battery life. What do you feel that you're gaining by trading in the XS Max?
I was waiting to see the details on the Watch Series 5 and while I'm saddened by not being able to buy the Series 4 for $50 or $100 off, I won't feel too out of sorts getting the Series 5 (I don't currently own a working watch, let alone a Smart Watch). Of course, I should go the local Apple Store to see if they marked down their existing Series 4 stock.
I plan to keep my Xs Max for many years to come. I paid enough for it.
Sent from my iPhone using SatelliteGuys App. For now.

No- It only has a USB-C wall charger with USB-C cable to Lightning on the phone, same as the prior X and Xs. Besides, I always use wireless charging now anyway.Did I hear this correctly?------Apple will start using USB-C on the iPhone>
I really don’t get why they discontinued the series 4 and kept selling the series 3, seems weird. Kind of bummed that I bought my 44mm series 4 this past May and it’s already discontinued.

It is pretty simple actually. The Watch 5 isn't a long putt from the Watch 4 in price or features so they discontinued the Watch 4. Having two devices that are nearly the same causes substantial confusion.I really don’t get why they discontinued the series 4 and kept selling the series 3, seems weird.
