Been correct for MY team even by that measure...

What you guys still fail to understand though, it is good when your conference wins. That impacts my teams success. We have been telling you guys that for years. Yall wont listen, and call us conference honks, ect. Criticize the conference, and certain things if you want, but if I were you, id be less concerned as to why those conferences are doing things, and more concerned as to why mine isnt following the mold of the clear leader.

There is only 1 bowl game that anyone really cares about. The rest no one gives a flying flip about. It is just a vacation and party. I've said this for years. If you get a win great no one cares unless there is an upset by a team trying to prove a point.

Whoopee-do we won the mama's pancake bowl in tumbleweed georgia, no one cares and next year espin will rename it to the big daddy pork chops bowl and everyone still wont care.

Ill agree with you on that, and well the SEC has won what 8 in a row of that bowl? 2 of them being my very own Fla team.

And continue to not listen. There is a reason why 63 NFL caliber players went to play in the SEC and get drafted. Because the SEC as a whole is a strong dominate conference. Heck Ole Miss of all places for the #1 recruit in the nation (according to ESPN 150) this year. Ole miss! Would they have got him if they were in the Moutain West Conference? Doubt it.

Really ?

You yourself just pointed out that the MAJORITY came from 2 teams.

I hadn't realized that Missouri was below the likes of Kentucky , Vanderbuilt and many other low sec teams ... if thats the case, I stand corrected.

2-6 in the conference, wow... hadn't realized that ...

Now, you have 14 teams and about 7 are any good, but you guys continue to tout how great the CONFERENCE is.
It doesn't look much different than any other conference, you happen to have MORE top teams, but you also have a lot of Poor teams, just like every other conference does.

Watch Kentucky this year. They will surprise a few teams.

Youv'e also taken top teams from other conferences to make your conference as good as it is.

Next you know, Oklahoma and Texas will join your conference and you'll still call it the SOUTHEASTERN.

Remind me how many championships did the SEC win before Texas A&M and Missouri came.

you and dv always hopeful :p With Kentuckys poor showing in BB last year you guys are lucky we keep u around :p

Actually they just might, they jumped into a top 25 recruiting class, so well see what they do with the talent.

We have a new coach and if he is even half as good as his brother then it is better than what we had.

I just dont know where you came up with the saying that Vtech would have a defense in the top 5 of the nation. I just do not see any logical reason to think that. I mean you know Alabama LSU would be there. Perhaps The Ohio State (Mainly because the rest of the big 10 are like peewee teams atm maybe theyll get better this year?) So OSUs stats should be good. Then of course you have florida (whos defense was in the top 10 last year, and they return and reloaded a lot of talent on defense) and GA, and South Carolina (who has a defensive player who most certainly will be in the hesiman hunt this year) and even from the ACC you have the much hyped FSU defense who did great last year and got stronger. I mean I just dont see any room for a team that went 7-6 in the ACC.. To be this year a top 5 defense.

Alabama will be steam rolling VTech (Saban doesn't mess up on opening day) Your coach is known for it. Just be glad you do not play FSU this year and have one of the easiest roads the ACC title game compared to many others. You do not play FSU or Clemson the two best teams in your league. If you do not win your division at least well that will say a lot about where VTech is.

Pretty easy to see based on what reporters have been saying and looking at the math of returning players and how they performed last year. FSU I don't see as that much of a threat this year, Clemson on the other hand is the real deal if they keep their receivers healthy. I don't see no issue here with VT's defense keeping them in the game, the last time they played it was a great game so I expect the same. I'm so confident in a good game I'm spending the money and going to it so. Comment all ya like on 7-6 last year but for nearly 9 years straight they had 10+ wins each season, sure they lost some big games but the same ole excuse comes up for everyone else and every other team that they got screwed on some bad calls and so on, it happens and you move on.

Not speaking of a fan here but more of logic and the numbers game.

But that was in the ACC. Boise St. had quite a few undefeated seasons, but that was in the WAC.

Sorry, but you're only as good as the people you play. And watching the SEC slap around the ACC at the end of the season (in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Wake/Vandy) every year is getting pretty old. God forbid Kentucky & Louisville ever move their game to the end of the season, then they'd probably go 5 for 5 that weekend. Well maybe not, it's still Kentucky (apologies to Ramy ;) )

My pic to win the SEC National Championship game this year in Atlanta is South Carolina over Alabama. The Cocks will then become yet another team to extend Ohio State's winless streak against the SEC.
