ah the perfect example of the sec homers that can do no wrong.

I don't care if you play the 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th ranked teams to finish up. BCS conference teams shouldn't be playing FCS teams the last 6 weeks of the season when it most affects the polls.

I dont think any BCS school should play a FCS team at any point. But if they all do it, I am not going to bash one team over another just because of what time of the year they choose to play their cupcake.

Wow count em 2 ACC teams in the top 10 now!!One in the top 5.:D Oh how I hope Clemson can beat SC.With only 1 loss Clemson and FSU would have an outside chance (albeit very slim) at the NC.

Clemson will lose to SCAR and FSU will lose to Florida. So no top ten finish yet again for the ACC, at least this years Orange bowl might be competitive. With Louisville vs FSU. Thatd be a fun math up.

Thanks Oregon and K State .... for nothing .

I was looking forward to a NON sec Title game for a change .... sec fans feel it thier RIGHT to be there... let them BUY a ticket for a change .

Well until someone beats the SEC in the title game, it dam well is their right to defend their championship :p SEC is undefeated in BCS title games, and has the best record win/loss record in BCS bowl games. (also the best record in regular bowl games but those dont matter as much)

So..... just because they have won the last ones they are in it automatically ?

So, if the winner of the sec championship game had 2 losses, would they still be in the MNC game if other teams had 1 or 0 losses ?

Talk about feeling ENTITLED ....

Over a one loss team maybe. Depends on the circumstances entirely.

If another team were undefeated, no. Wouldn't happen even if the circumstances might call for it.

Entitled, Over Rated, Full of Hot Air, etc, etc :censored:

Sure why not, there are two 2 loss sec teams rated above FSU in the bcs.

I was truly surprised while listening to espn radio in the truck this morning, one of the announcers said the sec teams shouldn't have moved up in the rankings for playing the fcs schools this late. I'm sure whoever that was won't be allowed on the college football shows again.

I agree, NO Team playing a level below them, should move up in the polls for beating a lower level team.

I can agree with it based on JUST beating a lower division team , but that discounts other criteria.

Les Miles may be a proud coach who stands up for his players, but he also may have a screw or two loose.LSU came away with a dramatic victory over Ole Miss on Saturday during which it erased a 35-28 deficit in the fourth quarter. The Tigers never led in the second half before freshman running back Jeremy Hill ran for a touchdown with 15 seconds remaining to give LSU a hard-fought 41-35 win.As you may have gathered from the video above, Miles was pleased with his team after the game. He went ballistic in praising his players and even told any females out there to give them a kiss right on the lips when they see them. He also dropped an f-bomb when emphasizing how proud he was of the Tigers for not packing it in.

LMAO!

It is lining up to happen again......lol

Bama to do list:

1. Whip Auburn
2. Destroy Georgia and pick up some SEC hardware. (frankly they should move to number 1 in the polls after that no matter what cream puff ND does)
3. embarrass the Irish and take the rest of the National hardware.

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

The PAC 12 and ACC (FSU are you kidding me?) shouldnt be up there to begin with. Every year its a group of pretenders. Whether Boise St, TCU, Oregon, VA tech. just clutter in the way IMO. And after that humiliating BLOW OUT loss to Baylor (LMFAO), Kansas St should have been no better than 25. if anything favoritism is being shown to these pattycake conferences. Oregon couldnt finish with 9 wins in the SEC. they cant stop the run, giving up over 200 yards on the ground to Stanford and would lose frequently. And The BCS is telling me that a team that got ran off the field by Baylor? is #6 in the country????
