NCAA Football 2012-13 season

ND still has to go to OU and SoCal. I don't see them getting past both of those games unscathed.

Looking at the schedules of the remaining contenders and how they are playing, I hate to say it, but Alabama and Oregon don't have much left on their schedules to worry about. A betting man would pick those two for the BCSCG, with Bama taking the crystal home again (and I'm sure a lot of battered trailer wives will be happy about that ;)).

Umm Alabama has FLA left :p Dont count that Crystal until after Atlanta.

Not jus that, there are three current top twenty teams left on the regular season schedule.

Dont get me wrong, Bama (homer call) is probably the most impressive looking team thus far, but LSU looked much better yesterday, A&M is pretty decent this season, and State is usually a tough game even when they are not ranked. Not to mention they are all in a row following Tennessee at Knoxville.

Interesting weekend for CFB.. I took off and went to an amusement park and sold my ticket for sat's VT game. Was damn near impossible to get any data signal cause of all the people so I wasn't able to catch up on what happened till I watched it a while ago and DAMN!!! Someone finally lit a fire under them to ring off 41 points straight to come back from a 20 point down to start from Duke whom looked pretty good compared to previous seasons. Hope to see this fire continue to burn for rest of season.

WVA took a crap I can see but I don't think they are a bad team and deserved that much of a poll drop. Their biggest issue is defense or lack there of.

I see what you did there.... play down Bama so when LSU beat them you can bring this post back up :D

I like many others do not want to see LSU and Bama in the title game again... so I'm pulling for both of them to lose 1-2 games as hard as anyone can pull.

They've given up 157 points just in their last three games alone. After the season is over, they'll wish they were ranked where they are today.

You may be right. They are good on offense, but that defense is beyond pathetic.

Interesting note in the computer rankings

Florida is #1 and Notre Dame is #2.

Interesting national title game. But I have a hard time seeing both of them run the tables.

I don't get it... not that I'm saying something is going against the ACC but why are both Florida St and Clemson have an Avg of 28????
I think the top 10 are about on but after that its all screwy

The computers take strength of schedule into the equation. Makes sense in that stance.

Which in particular do you find fault with at this point in the season, and why?

4 out of the top 7 ... does that surprise you ?

The SEC is guaranteed to have the most teams up top.

Since you asked, I would say that LSU does not belong.

Now, earlier in the day I saw OSU listed IN the BSC projections, knowing they would not be there, but they ran the scores nad placed them in and they were I think 5.

It's really hard to say who's who seeing most teams are up and down from one week to another.

LSU was terrible a few weeks ago and much better since.

The Buckeyes were looking better and better, but this week thier D* took a vacation, while still winning, didn't look good doing it.

Now, I'm not saying I think OSU is better than LSU at this time, but ya never know, they probably could be right there with most teams one week and not the next.
Alabama is clearly at the top of the list, I think Oregon is also and Florida is surprising me weekly.
After that, you could pull names out of a hat for positions in the poll.

As bad as they played, LSU was just one fumbled pass reception from beating the Gators in the Swamp. If you don't think LSU belongs where they are, then why do you think Florida does?

Imagine if LSU had a guy like Geno Smith. Seems like they have everything but a QB.

Obviously, they run it well, but you can't border on one-dimensional.

Looks like the computers saw the Pac 12 for what it is, Oregon at #6. And it's likely not to get better for them.

If Alabama/Florida and Notre Dame run the tables, then I see a match between those 2, as the computer love them.

Nice to see West Virginia fitting in with the Big 12, ie. no defense :p
