It used to have a bunch of other programming like roller derby, wrestling, MMA and even an overnight music video block with an interactive on screen text chat, but all of that was long gone by the time DTV picked it up in 2013.

Do you think D* should move FS2 to channel 220 to be next to FS1?

I'd also like to see them move ACC and SEC networks to 210 and 211 to be near the ESPN's.

FS2 is the former Fuel which was always a higher tier and digital only channel, Speedvision had widespread expanded basic and analog coverage back in the day. Cable companies that haven't touched their core double digit range in decades can't put them next to eachother unless it's FS1 that gets duplicated higher up, so they can't force DTV to do it.

FS2 is not really to FS1 what ESPN2 is to ESPN anyway. It usually has a different lineup of more niche sports, and most providers including DTV still have it in a higher tier compared to FS1, while some providers like Optimum only carry it in SD. Because of that, many times they use FOX Business for overflow coverage of higher profile events instead of FS2.

ESPNU is only down that low because of the offer they made to providers about a decade ago to have ESPN Classic and ESPNU swap channels and packages.

I'm not sure when this happened exactly, but the font for much of the channel listings on the map is now Aptos Narrow.
Previously, they had been in Eurostile font.
No big deal, just found it interesting.

The NBA Mix is gone and the Kids Mix has returned

The Masters Mix is also gone, the College Sports Mix will return this weekend.

That's because It was tun on a different system. Gary was unavailable on Wednesday, so I ran his Excel software on my PC. I'm not sure why our default fonts are different.

I looked into it. I can't create content in Excel (Microsoft 365) that uses Eurostile, because it it is not an available font in a fresh Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 install. I don't add extra fonts to my system installs. It's the information that is important, not the font.

Nothing much this week besides the Masters/NBA cleanup, VOD testing for Hustler Mature, adding a logo for Willow 2, and them passing along Gracenote's updates to some OTA records

Channels 100 and 113 now just say "DIRECTV" in the guide, rather than "Order DIRECTV Sports Packages", as they had always shown before.
The new listing also has the false "HD 1080p" designation.
If I tune to either channel, I still get the Sports Pack promo that has been on there for a while now.

TPN reshuffle for Cinemax West and Starz Edge

It looks like they might have quietly made FOX Soccer Plus's HD feed 24/7. 621-1 is now pointing to a 5 digit TMSID instead of the internal 4 digit CCID, and it's currently live even though a replay from a few days ago is airing. The last map that had it offline was the week of 7/10/24, every map after that has had a consistent TID/PID, while the maps prior to 7/10 had it repurposing various CINEHD channels.
