NCAA Football 2011-2012

Yup, Houston ... they've played a tough schedule ...

You'll have to tell me which one was suppose to qualify as a tough game ...

UCLA
North Texas
Louisiana Tech
Georgia State
UTEP
East Carolina
Marshall

Fwiw, UCLA is 3-4
Not sure where you saw a game that should be tough.

Not saying Boise St is better, just pointing out you said Houston played a tough schedule.

Houston is 19 in the BSC and 18 in the other polls and you want them ahead of a top 10 Boise St ?

I was only comparing Houstons schedule compared to Boise's which seems to be alot stronger.

Wow, looks a lot like VT's schedule, especially at the bottom.

Really? lol Miami, GT, Clemson, UNC all these teams you may not think are good teams (Clemson currently ranked 7th in the nation) but they are... just those 4 alone are better than all of Houston's or BSU's teams they have on this years schedule. I'm sure you will disagree cause many just don't think the ACC has good teams this year but they do, they have every year and I'm sure they will send many teams to bowl games as they usually do.

How exactly has it been stronger?
No dog at all in this fight, but I dont see it. They have UCLA, and who? And UCLA is nothing this year, just the biggest name on their schedule.

Boise at least has a win over a top 25 team.

Seriously, not sure how you can say Houston has had a harder schedule than Boise, even after you discount the two top games (and to be fair, I dont think Boise had played a tough schedule)
Your hate of Boise for the loss last year is shining through bright and clear.

In the end, we may get the chance to see just how good Boise is. With OU and Wisconsin losing this week, there is an excellent chance of Boise meeting a big dog in the NC. OkSt still faces OU, and there's no chance of a rematch between Bama and LSU unless possibly there's only an undefeated Houston left. I would think an undefeated Boise should stay ahead of an undefeated Stanford and Clemson in the BCS.

see there is no way in hell Clemson or Stanford undefeated should stay behind Boise... just no way!! Stanford has a better chance at going undefeated between the two since Clemson still has a few very good teams left to play and could end up playing VT again in the ACC title game. Clemson has already gone thru 3 top 25 teams so far with Stanford barely 1 if you count a #25 Washington. Boise has only played 1 top 25 team and that's Georgia whom still doesn't look good at all with beating only low end teams thus far.

Now let me set the record straight here for anyone reading.. I'm talking about Boise St vs the current top 1-10 teams and this has nothing to do with last years game against VT nor does this have anything to do with VT..i'm talking Boise St just as ESPN is hyping them up I'm talking them down. I'm sorry but you may as well call them Kellen Moore St cause without him they would have nothing.

Honestly can't see how anyone would put them in the top 5 let alone #1. I would say a 2 loss Bama or LSU team right now is still better than a undefeated Boise St team..hands down!

A little cut and paste from ESPN's Edwards the BCS Guru so to say..
Edwards later explained on ESPN's BCS Countdown show that if No. 4 Boise State, No. 5 Clemson and No. 6 Stanford were all to finish undefeated, he thinks that the predicted order of finish in the BCS Standings would be Stanford, Clemson and Boise State.

nope you are wrong sir.... I just don't like the fact that they haven't played hardly anyone and are spotted way ahead of better teams. Even a 1 loss Wisc team is 2x better if you ask me.

I wont disagree with THAT, but I do disagree with your part of your previous post, and that is what I was addressing. I do not see how Houston in any way should be ahead of them. I do not see how their schedule is harder.

UNC is a joke in football, always has been (as discussed in the recent UNC cheating scandal thread). As for Clempson, yes they're #7, but they kicked your butt at home (wasn't even close). Playing a ranked team only counts if you win, or even lose closely. Sorry, but you can't hang anything on that loss. As for Tech, unfortunately our defense is full of holes (as I've been saying all year), and UVA & UM figured that out and killed us. Sorry, but VT's schedule isn't much better than Houston. Especially when they lost to the only ranked team they'll play this year.

How is that different than any number of teams that had a great quarterback? Where would Auburn have been without Cam? Where would Stanford be without Luck? Where would Florida have been without Tebow? etc...

And Virginia Tech owes any recognition they get today because of the Vicks.

LOL jesus dude you just don't care at all do you? Clemson beat VT and a very good VT team... every team can get caught on a bad day doesn't mean they are trash or bottom feeders. As for VT's schedule I didn't really bring up its schedule ..someone else did but they do play a few decent teams this year ACC or not.

Hell we keep losing players left and right.... I'm damn surprised they are doing as good as they are doing.

You are trying to compare Boise St with the likes of teams such as Auburn, stanford and florida now? wow.... please puff and pass!

Ohh thats BS and you know it.... Vick (Michael) played great.. Marcus was a thug and a punk - look what happened to him. Bryan Randall was awesome along with Tyrod Taylor... there have been a bunch of great QB's come thru VT... ohh did I mention Tyrod whom broke all of Vicks and other QB records? Logan Thomas just became the first QB at VT to pass for over 230yards in 3 consecutive games... good QB for only a Soph.

Now to get away from VT talk for a while.... What is the time set for LSU vs Alabama? Haven't they announced it yet?

No doubt VT has had several good QBs, no one will argue with that. But Michael Vick was the one that put Virginia Tech on the map in college football and made people pay attention to VT.

Bruce Taylor of Virginia Tech Hokies injures foot, lost for season - ESPN

A bad day is losing by a td or two.. Not 23 to 3 on your home field.. VT is not that good. facts are facts. They play 1 ranked team Clemson and got destroyed. The rest of the teams VT has played have been no bodies. Teams that will be lucky to play in the johns highschool outback western belt smith bowl....

Big East Expansion?

When will Ohio State get the final resolution from the NCAA?
