NCAA Football 2011-2012

Whats going on with Oklahoma and TT, it was originally on ABC, delayed, when it finally started, it was on ABC, now the news is on ABC and the game shows it being on the ESPN GAmePlan, how did that happen ?

Now I can't watch that game ?
You would think it might go to an ESPN alt, but not the game plan channels.

It's on ESPN2 I think.

Well...there you go. Not only did The U spank GT...they are only 1 game behind VaTech.

Lol... You should seriously lay off the "easy game" label when it comes to conference games...one of those "easy games" can come back and bite you in the a$$.

dude.. GT is highly over rated UVA showed that.. Should have been a easy win for Miami and it was. But hey glad to see Miami win just hurts GT's chances of doing anything in the coast as was Miami's. Good game glad you liked it and you don't have to be so "OMG I GOTza post IN FORUMS to be Right!" lol relax!

that was a crap call!!

There was not enough evidence to overturn the call on the field.

Why don't they have the cameras ON the goal line?? That angle was from the 2-3 yard line, and not a good view.

They should have let them play OT. Refs must've had a flight to catch.

The ball was shown in reply with the cam stopped with the ball over the white line..it only has to hit the white line just a inch to be a TD. But great game... OU looks like they have their hands full... #6 down and #3 down in one night... damn! Then we gotta wait 2 weeks for #1 or #2 to go down so Boise St can secretly push themselves into #2 blah blah ESPN OMG BOISE blah blah lol

I just got back home after dinner at my dad's and waiting on this fiasco to start. It is still on our local ABC here. OU needs to get their heads out of their collective crimson and cream derrieres. They look terrible

How the heck can a school the caliber of OU not get a decent place kicker. This crap has been going on 3 or 4 years now. As bad as they played, 2 missed field goals and a great Tech performance cost them the game.
Guess its up to my Pokes now. We didn't really need for OU to have any additional incentive coming into Bedlam this year.

From the views I saw, none showed the ball at all.

Florida State had that same problem for awhile (no kickers) back in the Bowden days.

No a freeze frame was shown right after it happened as the games program was ending on ESPN and they showed the ball in his right arm right on top of the line...that's all you need. The video's shown they never slowed it down much for the viewers but the replay guys did it and clear as day.

I can see Wisc dropping at least several spots after last night... OU dropping several as well maybe out of the top 10... Top 5 will prob fall out like LSU, Bama, Oklast, BoiseSt, and Clemson.

Just about everyone I talked to yesterday at the game wants that Clemson rematch bad!! I'm hoping they are in the top 3 when it happens cause if they do it again it may vault them up a little considering I think VT may be around 7th or 8th come that game but if VT wins that would vault them back up there. I tell ya guys... the way the top 10 may shuffle around in the next 4-5 weeks its hard to tell who will end up where!!

The problem was, the camera was not straight down the goal line, it was at an angle(from the 1-3 yardline), and did not give a definitive view.

The one replay that I saw on the goal line was from above and even worse.

If it had been called a touchdown on the field, I would say OK, but it was called down at the one on the field. No way to overturn either way.

They had one straight down the line... it was shown at the end right before ESPN signed off from the game in a still frame. The one that they had down the line was shaking all over the place so they had to frame by frame it which is what the replay guys saw.

Good call IMO from just seeing the edge of the ball right over the line...

Man the AP Polls suck.... no way would I have Clemson behind Boise St.... Hell I'd have Houston (7-0) ahead of Boise St cause of the better schedule they've had as in harder to go thru. The BCS Polls had it really good last week, I'm sure they will have it spot on this week I hope.

Yup, Houston ... they've played a tough schedule ...

You'll have to tell me which one was suppose to qualify as a tough game ...

UCLA
North Texas
Louisiana Tech
Georgia State
UTEP
East Carolina
Marshall

Fwiw, UCLA is 3-4
Not sure where you saw a game that should be tough.

Not saying Boise St is better, just pointing out you said Houston played a tough schedule.

Houston is 19 in the BSC and 18 in the other polls and you want them ahead of a top 10 Boise St ?

Big East Expansion?

When will Ohio State get the final resolution from the NCAA?
