That can easily be debated. Colt McCoy is a much better QB than Tebow IMO. Kind of hard to be the best player in college football when you are not even the best player at your position.
I agree that he may be the best QB in college, it's just the GUSHING that is driving me nuts, it's almost worse than hearing about Old Man Brett Favre.
I have enjoyed watching him play and he's had a great career, but these announcers are terrible.
It will only get worse if he wins a second Heisman.

If you go by the stats then Kellen Moore with Boise State is the best QB in college football. Tebow is currently #9 in the QB position with the stats this year.
Couple of thoughts from the Florida/FSU game:
1. Great way for Tebow to finish his time in the Swamp
2. Not surprised that the Gators racked up 37 points; FSU's defense has been shredded frequently- NC State, Maryland, Georgia Tech. Still stuns me how these guys throttled BYU in Provo.

We'll probably get to see that determined in the MNC, won't we? Nice game for Tebow today. As far as those complaining about the Tebow worshipping, you know damn well if your team had anyone even remotely close to his talents your jealous arses would be kneeling on your prayer rugs as well. I know I would.

Stats and records.. You also have to calculate in the caliber of league a player is in and still able to put up those stats. Tebow is on his way to his third national title (if they can get by bama Texas and Colt McCoy will be a cake walk) The first title he played a major role in even though he was not the starter.
Where is colt McCoy in the ranking you have listed? And I wonder if McCoys stats are in anyway inflated because of the lack of defense in the big 12? A avg quaterback can look like a star when he plays nothing but crappy defense. (as far as numbers go). Texas couldnt even win its own conference under McCoy, let alone a national title.
Who has thrown more interceptions McCoy or tebow? Whos had more turn overs? (And that says alot speacially when you consider Tebow has played against the better defenses)
Look at Bradford. He broke Colts record of most TD passes.. Why? Because its easy where their is NO DEFENSE to throw against.
Not to mention Tebow has lead FLA to its longest win streak, (BTW FLA is the winningest team since 1990 to today) He also lead his team to their first undefeated regular season. What has McCoy done? Thats right Lost to the same Buckeye team Tebow and the gators destroyed. OSU 24 Texas 7... At home for the long horns.
And as far as Tebow being on the field so long.. Seriously now.. You do somthing dedicated 4 years of your life to somthing and then on the last day of that project (at least at home) you tell me if youd want to sit down. Theyd have to bring me off the field kicking and screaming..
Tebow gets a lot of hate because he's so good. I thought Meyer handled his last game in the swamp with class.

McCoy is number 11 on that listing. The only reason I can see that he is lower on the listing is the 5 interceptions more that he has thrown. I guess when you throw the ball more than double Tebow and for almost twice the yards you will have a few more interceptions.
As for you throwing out all the stats for Tebow over the years, who cares. That means nothing when you are talking about who the best QB or player is this year. Yes he has had a great career with FL but I personally feel that he is not the best QB this year. He is more of a running back than a QB. He hasn't even thrown the ball for 15 times per game. I bet if you look at it he has more runs than passes per game. Say that he is a great running back and I might agree but not a QB.
