I am curious about that as well, but was not gonna ask. What makes OSU deserving of where they are this year? And what can they offer that would rank them higher than miami?
I mean really....Navy, Toledo and terrible Indiana and Illinois.....THAT constitute being in the top ten....their ONLY legit opponent, they lost to AT HOME...
Hell IOWA has played a tougher schedule and they BEAT a top 10 team AT Penn State..and they are undefeated ...they are ranked BELOW Miami....

I've already explained it.
They started the year what, 10-11 and have done nothing to say they shouldn't be there, they've won and moved up some.
You look at it backwards, they beat everyone they were suppose to... so far.
Had Miami started the season in the top 10-12 they would be in the top 5-10, probably 5 ... after the embarrassing loss they had they would have dropped and with them winning since they would have been moving up.
They have to start somewhere...... this is where the idea of Pre Season polls is ridiculous.
Personally, I wish they would not do any polls till the 4th week so you have an idea where people should really be ....
You keep bitching about where the Bucks are and that Miami should be ahead of them, but your not complaining about any other schools, everyone above Miami is LEGIT except OSU ?

Got SMOKED by Va Tech, the same VA Tech that barely got by DUKE

The way I see it the only team that they played that is still in the top 15 is Va Tech, thou I expect that Oklahoma will get back up there.

See, they have played a LESS schedule that the Bucks, but it's ok that they are #1 and ahead of your Canes.
It would be SOOO funny if Miami and Ohio State end up in a BCS bowl (it's possible- VaTech could screw up down the road, Miami has no daunting ACC games left, and Ohio State has a great chance to win their conference).
Personally, the ONLY teams that should be ahead of Miami is USC, Florida, Alabama, LSU and VaTech.
Now why is that ?
OSU lost to USC in the last minute of the game, they didn't get blown out.....
IF Miami should be behind USC then they should be behind OSU too.
