NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

Down goes #1.

OU was exposed, IMO, as a team that can't stop teams with a pulse.

It's easier to stop the likes of Chattanooga, Washington, and Baylor.

Texas exposed their defense; what about the likes of Texas Tech, OK State and Kansas?

CRAP!!!!!!!!!!! How can you get all those turnovers and still lose??? :(

Has he EVER lost to UK?

BTW, ramy, look on the bright side- the long losing streak to Tennessee is definitely going down this year.

No, he is now 16-0 against them lifetime. The third longest streak, and the fourth belongs to Phil Fulmer.

Michigan had a humiliating loss to Toledo (Paul may be the unluckiest member of this forum, given what has happened to UM and the Etroit Lions), and guess what?

They have to go to Penn State next week.

Oklahoma has a great defense. They gave up one on Shipley's run back, but most of the catches by Texas receivers and throws by McCoy were phenominal. Texas was inspired. I couldn't beleive it. Behind Colorado, Kansas , as of recent is my second favorite team. The big 12 is still Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri with an outside chance for Okie State and Texas Tech.:D

The stunner of the day:

Texas Tech is TIED with Nebraska in the fourth quarter.

That Husker mystique just won't die.

This reminds me of the Florida State/Boston College game last year when #2 B.C. was stopped in a rainstorm by FSU, and I felt that the Seminole/Bowden mystique was somehow not dead yet.

WHEW!

Tech escapes.

This is what some people call an 'ugly game.'

I don't care how it happened- a win is a win is a win.

EVERY high-ranked team has to have a close game (See LSU/Mississippi State, BYU/Washington).

BTW, what was the QB thinking on that interception? TAKE THE SACK- don't risk a bad throw.

Heck, they blocked the extra point, and couldn't take advantage of that!

I said Nebraska wouldn't die- turns out it was a self-inflicted wound that cost them the game.
