NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

VERY questionable video review in the UNC/Notre Dame game.

I guarantee you, if the Irish win this game, anders will be screaming 'conspiracy theory' all the way from North Carolina to Mt. Rainier.

Auburn is up 20-16 over Arkansas, yet they only have 78 TOTAL YARDS!!

Somehow, they are still ranked.

Win or lose, they have to drop out of the top 25!

Thoughts on the Early Saturday Games.

1. Since when did Mack Brown become a "Big Game" Coach. :D

2. With that said, Texas, OU and Texas Tech didn't distinguish themselves today. All of them looked beatable.

3. Maybe Michigan should run the "Wildcat Formation". :)

4. Exposed team of the week, Vanderbilt.

5. UNC struggled against Notre Dame, but it gets a big win my book. It likely ended any nonsense of a BCS bid for ND.

6. USC may have won 28-0 over ASU, but took a big step back as far as being a contender. That game was horrible.

That has to be one of the most dramatic Carolina football games I've ever seen! The refs were as in the tank for ND as basketball refs usually are for dook. That makes the win that much sweeter when you beat the opponent and their 12th man.

Remember the Tennessee/UCLA and Ole Miss/Florida games where I said the kickers missed easy chip shot field goals?

Well, we had another one in Michigan.

If they can't beat Toledo, how in the world can they beat the likes of Michigan State and Penn State?
Remember a few short weeks back when Toledo went 2 OT's with Fresno State and lost it on a 2 point conversion miss in the 2nd OT ...

That said, they then went on to stink up the joint for the next 2-3 games.

Purdue is turning over the game to the Bucks. Surprising that this isn't worse than it is. 10-0 Buckeyes early in the 2nd. About to get worse.

Buckeye's are too young on offense, they can move the ball up and down the field but can't punch it in, they have settled for a lot of field goals of late. (since Pryor took over, Pryor needs to learn to let the passing plays open up instead of running so quickly.

The weird game of the day has to be Arkansas/Auburn.

The Hogs have outgained Auburn 420-193, yet only lead 25-22.

I'm not a fan of Bobby Petrino, but it would be so sweet to see Auburn get exposed by the Hogs.

Anyone see Michael Smith's 63-yard TD run? Shades of McFadden.

How much luster goes off the Texas/Mizzou game if OKState wins?

thats a good question , it would probably be harder to beat a one loss Missouri than an unbeaten one. teams seem to get up to play unbeatens plus the experince gained with a loss and the pressure removed trying to stay unbeaten....
