NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

Sabres, no offense is unstoppable. December 6th will show Florida's offense held in check. Tough, hard hitting, disciplined defense can stop any offense.

BTW, the Gators play just as good on defense.

Good luck, Alabama is gonna need it to score more than 10 points on Florida's defense.

If Harvin doesn't play I could see Alabama staying within 30, maybe.

Please don't whine about running up the score either.

Within 30? LOL, just another person that doesnt give the UNDEFEATED, NUMBER ONE ranked team a chance. I love it!

I'm hoping for an SEC West win, but with apologies to you Bammers, I'll be placing my money on Florida. ;)

To me, this is the national championsip game. Should be a fun game to watch. Any of you going to it?

Oh, I am not saying bama will absolutely win it, although I think they very well CAN. I just thought it was funny to say that they MIGHT keep it within 30 now that Harvin may not play.

I would love to, however we start the first of our many christmas gatherings at noon next sat. I swear, I went from 2 when I was single to 7 now......great....really....lol. I did make it VERY clear that I would be leaving at 2, and she could come with me or find another ride. lol

Thank God Oregon St. lost yesterday, now we don't have to go through the most ridiculous bowl match-up of all time.

Now it opens a spot for Ohio State, pretty interesting if the matched them up with Cincinnati.

My Bowl projections.

MNC Game

Florida vs. Oklahoma

Fiesta

Ohio State vs Cincinnati

Sugar

Texas vs. Alabama

Orange

BC vs. Utah

Rose

PSU vs USC

I would prefer a Boise/Utah match up in the Fiesta, but that is not going to happen. Sucks!

Sabres - you couldn't possibly be more wrong about Griffin. He's an electrifying talent, and will TERRORIZE the B12 next year. Mark my words.

Hart - can you imagine the boring factor on a Backstabber College / Utah Orange bowl? And what, in front of about 2,000 fans? :)

Thats why I prefer Boise/Utah game with a BC/Cincinnati( that everyone can act like it doesn't exist)

UCLA, I am PRAYING you pull the upset.

I can't take ANOTHER year of USC in the Rose Bowl.

It's the most annoying thing on TV to me. EVERY year- same coach, same helmets, same annoying Song Girls.

WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END?!

If you don't like looking at hot college cheerleaders, I have a simple solution. Cover your eyes or change the channel!

FLA a very impressive win yesterday even with the rain, which really made FLA's speed not as big a factor, you can tell by how much teabow had to rush. Then when Harvin went out demps really picked up the slack and showed that FLAs running and receiveing game was not just one man.

As far as heisman goes, sure Teabow did not put up the numbers he did last year, but thats not his fault. Last year he did not have a great team to back him up in rushing. This year, he is stocked with choices to go to and the ball gets spread around. I think the fact he has been able to do this successfully (last year the lost 4 and he won the heisman this year they very well may only lose 1) Should be very interesting who does get the nod, all of the top three/four are deserving for sure.

Until last night, only one team in the Big-12 had a quality win on the road: Ok State beat Missouri in Columbia. Oklahoma went on the road last night and beat #12 Ok State, in a game that was closer than the final score would indicate. OU showed heart in not crumbling under an offensive juggernaut on the road.

Don't let anyone kid you: playing Texas in Dallas is a road game for Oklahoma. Even so, if their defensive captain hadn't been knocked out for the season in the first half, the final score might have been much different. OU has been compensating for that with more offense ever since.

Oklahoma has a win against the Big East champion. Texas has a win against Arkansas.

The BCS will do whatever it does, and OU will either play in the Big-12 championship next week or they won't. But it's obvious to me that Oklahoma is playing the best football right now. Not Florida, not Texas, not Alabama, not USC.

They may be playing great, but their defense looked VERY shaky last night.

IMO, the Sooners are a one-dimensional team that's very fortunate that dimension is unstoppable.

OU's mantra is "We don't need no stinking defense! Just score a zillion points!"
