NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

ULM beats Troy by 1. Ole Miss beats ULM by 59. Troy is currently beating the Tigers by 29. Does that make Ole Miss favored over LSU next week by 89 points? ;)

Wait...it could be less. Tigers are in the redzone for the first time tonight.

I really like this Bama team.

They are so relentless on EVERY play. They never let up.

I'm a Tech fan, but I think they are the best team in the country.

Troy over LSU has got to be the upset of the year. LSU's scout team should beat those guys.

I said last week that Florida could beat South Carolina by 4 TD's without Tebow. I stand by that statement. With Tebow they won by 50. When will people learn that Spurrier is no longer a good coach?

I like Alabama too. I love any team that is willing to run it between the tackles. When John Parker Wilson completes more than 5 passes in a game they are unbeatable. How can you not bite on Alabama's play action?

NO, Spurrior no longer has the quality of players he had before.
Funny how a coach looks great with great players and avg with everyday players.

It'd help us if we had a receiver besides Julio Jones who can get open. He's the real deal, though. I love watching him play. Already my favorite Alabama receiver of all time.

Tulsa is losing to Houston 63-24!!

The ghosts of Andre Ware and David Klingler are still alive and well in Houston!

OTOH, so much for Tulsa- at least they can still win their conference championship.

Well everybody thought that Spurrier would be recruiting All Americans to South Carolina like he did at Florida. Funny Lou Holtz thought he could sign big name players there too like he did at Notre Dame. Maybe good players just don't want to play there. I can't imagine why not? Could it be the fact that in 100 years of fielding a team South Carolina has a cumlative losing record? You could bring Bear Bryant back from the dead and he couldn't win there.

Agreed. But Troy is not a team you want to play late in the season while injured, and after battling the #1 team in the country to a disappointing loss in OT. They're a quick team and match up pretty good with the unsuspecting big boys. Gotta give 'em some credit after the way they played tOSU tough. :)

LSU climbing back in it though. 31-17 early in the 4th. Might not be enough time however.

Well, the Bear won at Maryland, and Kentucky before turning Alabama back into a powerhouse. He could win at South Carolina, too. Anyone else? I don't know.

That's my point. I don't think Bear could do it. I don't think Nick Saban or Pete Carroll could either.
