NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

After what I have seen from the Tar Heels in the post-Mack Brown years, if I were a Heel fan, I'd be ecstatic to go to the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl (I still call it by that name).

ANY bowl is a good start.

Besides, look at Pittsburgh; they have had a bad stretch of football, and Dave freaking Wannstedt could be on his way to the Orange Bowl.
You're probably right. It's just very frustrating when you are so close to something big. Carolina has lost 3 games by a total of 7 points and we had the lead in the 4th qtr of all 3.

I heard that Troy is leading LSU 17-3 IN DEATH VALLEY!

Looks like the Bama hangover is proving really powerful.

If this score holds up, I shudder to imagine how mccoy would feel.

Kentucky is playing just awful. They are lucky to be down just 17 points.

Troy LSU is on the ESPN Gameplan channel 789 if you have Directv. What was that comment by Les Miles in the offseason about all those teams from Louisiana beating Alabama??

No way this is happening. Notre Dame is miserable.

USC is not a team I can trust on offense. At times, they can be like your Browns- maddeningly inconsistent.

Besides, if Troy can go into Death Valley and spank the Tigers, why not?

And Troy is the beneficiary of playing LSU after the Bama game. Just like UL-Monroe getting Bama after that game last year. It was such a physical game, and so emotional. Alabama never recovered last year. I was hoping LSU wouldn't have the same problem, and could get a decent bowl game.

Troy 31, LSU 3.

Troy is stacking the box with nine guys making LSU pass with no QB - Lee has thrown his 8th pick-6 of the season (gotta be an NCAA record). LSU D is dead tired and Troy is running all over them. Goodbye Cotton Bowl.

Yep kev, looks like the reverse of last year, only the Tigers are on the losing end. I can't see them beating Ole Miss or Arkansas playing like this the rest of the way. History may have repeated itself, only it's flipped.
