NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

I was just looking at the Big 12 standings, and it's so unfair that Missouri will more than likely (they lead the North division with a 4-2 record) be playing for the championship Dec.6.

IMO, the best four teams in the Big 12 are ALL in the South division: Texas Tech, Texas, Oklahoma and Okie St.

But alas, only ONE of them will be playing for the Big XII Championship.

You've just made the most compelling reason for NOT having CCG's ....

Not all teams play one another either.

fwiw, Mizzu 34 K State 10.
Macklin just went for a 59 yard run

Yes, but Mizzou hasn't lost to teams FROM that division.

Besides, Chase Daniel is capable of winning a shootout with Harrell, McCoy, Bradford, or Robinson.

This isn't like 2005 when a 7-5 Colorado team won the division and got b*tch-slapped 70-3 by Texas.

Oh I agree, Missouri can hang with any of those teams......on any given night.

But I still think the Tigers are only the fifth best team in the Big 12.

Honestly, I've had XM and Sirius, and I really like them both, but I get to where I don't even listen to either of them for the music. Just the sports. I'd only pull the Sirius out once a week for the Alabama broadcasts a couple of years ago when they were carrying them.

Well keep your eyes and ears open, they will be coming out with the new packages soon, you will be able to have either service for 9.99 and have the other ala carte, such as the Nascar and NFL for me for a small addl price.

BTW, I already put that game in the Tigers win column in my post.

Missouri did get bitch slapped pretty good by Texas earlier this year.

Cincinnati up on West Virginia, 20-7 with about 7 minutes left.

Again, this game is IN Morgantown.

This is reminiscent of the Mountaineers losing to Pitt at home last season.

Speaking of teams getting bitch slapped, Florida's beating Vandy like a rented mule. They may be the best team in the country right now.

Hey, Mccoy, they flagged US for an unsportsmanlike penalty?? Sheesh. But that's pretty funny. Don't know how effective it is, but still, pretty funny. Love the LSU fans. I'm telling you, I laugh everytime I think about Auburn and Pat Nix getting sacked for a safety after the fans blew a whistle, and they thought the play was over....LSU fans cant be all bad...as long as that happens to Auburn and not Alabama, of course...

B.C. is KILLING Notre Dame the way Texas Tech killed Kansas, regardless of the score.

Big difference, Bill- Cinci is better than Pittsburgh was last year.

Cincinnati is 6-2 (same record as WVU, BTW.)- Pitt was mediocre heading into that game.

The Bearcats are a good team that is overachieving because of injuries- Pitt was awful.

How does a team over achive due to injuries ?
If they are winning because of injuries, then they have the wrong STARTERS on the field

I agree. :up

If someone held a gun to my head tonight to pick a National Champion, I would have to go with the Gators.

The Gators have four games left:
Nov. 15 vs. South Carolina, Nov. 22 vs. the Citadel, Nov. 29 @ Florida St. and then the SEC Championship against Alabama.

BTW, did the carriage turn into a pumpkin on the Commodores, or what?

Normally, when teams have lots of injuries, they crumble (see Cowboys, Dallas).

Cinci is playing good football in spite of the injuries, and have lost just twice- and losing to Oklahoma and UConn is nothing to be embarassed about, unlike Tennessee lost to Wyoming or Michigan against Toledo.

They still manged to last longer as an unbeaten team than East Carolina. East Carolina was supposed to be the trendy BCS buster at one point this year.
