Speaking of Texas Tech there, Sabres...you might want to check out the 3rd hour of today's "Dan Patrick Show" @ danpatrick.com. He interviewed Mike Leach, the coach!!!...
The Florida/Georgia winner (provided they win out) will be the one loss team that plays in the BCS Championship Game if there is only one or no undefeated teams in the end.
Right, but Georgia, should they win this week, will get a rematch with Alabama in the SEC CG. Win that and they're off to Miami.Georgia in the title game?
Remember the first half againat Alabama?

Bill, david thinks that if Georgia runs the table from here on, they should be in the BCS title game.
You and I remember the Bama game. Is he nuts? A game like that is too terrible for the voters to forget about.
Sabres they will get a chance to avenge that loss. If Georgia beats Alabama in the SEC CG the first game is irrelevant.Bill, david thinks that if Georgia runs the table from here on, they should be in the BCS title game.

No because only one team can win the SEC championship. The other team would likely be the Big XII champ or USC.What if Florida or Georgia finish with one loss and Alabama has one loss and everybody else has one loss. Who plays for the BCS title? Two SEC teams?
If an SEC team doesn't play for the national championship, then there really IS a problem with the BCS....Undefeated Alabama, one loss Georgia, or one loss Florida--any of 'em would undoubtedly be one of the two best teams in the nation. I think Alabama with one loss and an SEC championship should still play for the title, but it's too far along in the season for them to lose and still get in. Whether that's fair or not, I don't know. But it is the reality of the polls. Now if the SEC champion has two losses, as unlikely as that would be, then maybe you'd have an argument against an SEC team playing for the title.
Yeah, but aren't two SEC teams already playing for the national title? December 6th in Atlanta...the other game on January 8th is just a formality, right?
Down year? I don't think 3 of the top 8 and 4 of the top 15 teams would be considered that much of a down year. And as much as I love Alabama, playing Georgia a second time isn't something I'd look forward to. On the other hand, playing Florida is just as challenging. And c'mon, all of you big 12, big 10, pac 10, wac, mac, and whatever other conference you want to name fans....it's not a bias when it's settled on the field.
