You can say 'Tiger Invitational.' Go ahead.

People used to call the SEC Tournament the 'Kentucky Invitational' in the 1990s, and a few years back, I called it the 'Florida Invitational.'

In a strange way, Memphis' dominance of the C-USA hurts them.

It lends very little credibility to the conference as a whole.

I used to think the same thing about the SEC from 1992-2004 when Kentucky nuked the SEC year after year.

Ditto for West Coast basketball outside of UCLA in the Wooden era.

It's a good thing the game ended when it did.........Houston was making a strong comeback:

If he goes Travis Ford at Oklahoma St is going to be the lottery winner. He's a former UK star who will be high on their wish list (after they've gone through the ritual of getting rejected by guys like Bill Self, John Calipari and Tom Izzo), and Oklahoma St's biggest supporter is Boone Pickens. Ford can either go to Kentucky or use them as leverage to get more money from a billionaire who spares no expense at Oklahoma St.

Let me ask you guys something. As you've probably noticed, Im a jaded College Basketball fan. I couldnt pick these guys out of a lineup. I have to ask though: Who do you think are going to be the number 1 seeds? Any sleepers?

With all the upsets it's wide open now. Pitt and Carolina are favorites to get 1 seeds. UConn and Louisville could too and so could Michigan St. Oklahoma probably blew whatever chance they had by losing last night.
