What the heck was up that contract? I've heard about that for a while and never understood why they didn't settle that. Does this mean Kentucky can fire him without having to buy him out? God Lord if they could have done that to Tubby they'd have fired him years ago.Gillispie just doesn't get it. I never liked him for choice of the coach and if he still hasn't signed a contract, how the heck can they be responsible for paying him the rest of it.

Villanova up 34-26 on Louisville at the half.
What he said.BIG news on the bubble front:
A-10 top seed Xavier loses to Temple, 55-53.
The Musketeers are obviously a lock for an at-large, so that knocks another bubble hopeful out.
The Owls will meet the Duquesne/Dayton winner tomorrow night in the A-10 title game.
I think Maryland is doing what they need to do. The Xavier loss will cause problems for teams that have already lost like Arizona or Creighton, maybe even some of the Big Ten teams like Wisconsin that think they're safe.Anders,
does this Xavier loss hurt Maryland (assuming the Terps hang on tonight)?

Temple's got a top 40 RPI and the win tonight will only boost it higher. I'm not sure that tomorrow is a must win for them. I think a lot of bubble teams would have rather seen them lose tonight.I was just looking at the ESPN "locks", and they have Dayton as a lock.
So as long as Dayton wins tonight and tomorrow, the Xavier loss may not be that bad for bubble hopefuls.
