Unlike some of the other teams that pulled off upsets during Championship week, Syracuse is a better team, and given the history between these teams and the tournament.

Syracuse is better than OKState, Baylor, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech.

The ACC Tournament is still the best IMO, but I have always enjoyed the BE Tournament and tonight's game was fantastic. The ACC has more history than the Big East and the rivalries are better, but UConn-Syracuse is one of the best rivalries in the Big East so I have nothing against them. It's just that one the whole there are more Villanova-Louisville matchups, where the teams may be good but there is no real rivalry there, than in the ACC.

I have updated and corrected for any mistakes in the schedule. It can be found in post 570.
Conference USA had to have the times corrected. The times were based on the fact the highest remaining seed was gets to play the 3pm cst time game. This would be the the memphis game. Which is why I switched the times correctly represent when those games will be played. Other than the wcc tournament only big12, acc, big east, and big 10 will receive hd coverage on espn or espn2.

edit: just noticed you posted a new one. Switch the times on the conference USA games and you will be in better shap than you were before.

I don't know what to make of what is happening to Pittsburgh.

On one hand, I want to yell and scream, "I'M SICK OF SEEING THE BEST TEAMS GET ELIMINATED EARLY AND THE TOURNAMENT BEING REPRESENTED BY TEAMS NOT AS GOOD!"

On the other hand, winning the conference tournament doesn't automatically guarantee a great NCAA tournament. As well, losing early is not a deathblow.

By all of the top teams falling, this simply shows that the supposed "top teams" weren't all that great in the first place. This year, the NCAA is full of parity, which is a good thing! The title is up for grabs for anyone this year!

Relax already! Pitt and Oklahoma are still in the Tourney, BECAUSE of their spectacular regular season resume. The conference tournament allows for other teams earn their way in by stepping up and beating the big boys. They've earned it fair and square.

EVERYONE saw I started a thread. WHAT a great game last night/this morning! I cannot say anything bad about a game that goes 6 OTs! I have a strange feeling that the 'Cuse will come out flat against WV. How can you not blame them??!! One thing for sure, the 'Cuse WILL BE dangerous in the NCAAs. I feel they should be AT LEAST getting to the Sweet Sixteen....it's a crap shoot. People may not like Deavandorf, but he is one of the more clutch players in the country.....but I could really use less mouth from that guy. Although, I loved that he stod up for his teammate against Seton Hall after the hard foul.

That was a great game salsa. I know I'm tough on the Cuse sometimes but they were something else last night. I can't believe Jonny Flynn played 67 minutes, and how Rautins had his legs for those 3's in the OT's I have no idea. It'll be interesing to see how Syracuse plays tonight. My advice is slow it down. I actually think UConn is worse off. Sure they get some needed rest, but mentally you don't forget about a game like that soon. That's back to back losses for UConn now. I'm thinking these guys chances at a NC are going out the window and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't get bounced short of the FF.
