Yeah, that game was a summary of both teams' seasons. Mett getting hurt probably caught the Hogs off guard, they had it won. I'm not looking forward to watching LSU's defense possibly go up against a Baylor or Clemson offense in a bowl game. The final two minutes was s perfect summery of the season

Wow, just looked at the schedule today, great day of college football all day.
Haven't had time to look, the Buckeyes and Mich at noon and Bama and Auburn at 3:30, is there a Big late game, 7:30/8 pm game ?
The other conferences have always played til Thanksgiving weekend, Ga/GT game was always then (along with most of the in-state rivalry games down south). The only reason we've gone the week later was strictly for the Conference Championship game. Not our fault a single conference didn't want to play on Turkey weekend. And it's true, the Big Ten DID take longer time off than the rest till the last two years.
All the other conferences play into Dec, the Big Ten was done before Thanksgiving ... do the math.
All the other conferences use to take weeks off, the Big Ten has always played straight thru till recently.
As was I, but Pitt ruined my hopes. So now I'm hoping for Duke to pull it out, like to see them win their first division title.Well... today, I am North Carolina and Virginia fan.
I would like a 16 game playoff, keep the first 2 rounds on campus played at the higher seeds. The semi-finals and championship game would be neutral site, the way the 4 game thing is now. Losers of the first 2 rounds could go into bowl games.Take to long? No. The time frame could be kept the same easily.
But an extra four games for some i think is bordering on too much when they already play a 12 game regular season. Especially if it keeps an off site format.
Bring it all on campus and it makes more sense. Logistically and from a money standpoint (keeping them on neutral sites will make sure there would be empty seats with that many more games)
Still, i think four, six at most handles any issues. (I'd still prefer all that on campus)
