NCAA 2013 Football Season

I for one, would like to see the Bears in the title game. They are a damn tougher team than everyone is giving them credit for. Unfortunately in college football they want to rank current teams based on past teams and players accomplishments.

However Baylor has to beat OSU before they can pass osu in the polls and I like our chances of ending the Bears winning streak in Stillwater this weekend. Baylor has shown some vulnerabilities on the road at Manhattan and Lubbock. Playing in Stillwater is a lot tougher than those 2 places and we can hopefully exploit those areas and force the Bears into making more mistakes

The Human voters LOVE the high octane offense of Baylor more than OSU apparently.
Computers love them better as well (Baylor-3, Ohio St.-5). Their strength of schedule (part of the computer component) will only get better as well.
AP also had them leapfrogging Ohio St. as well.

BIG OSU fan here .... Both OSU's !

They are talking that Ohio State didn't beat Illinois the way they should have (60-35)
But Baylor didn't get looked down on when they gave up 42 points to West Virginia, and 34 to Texas Tech.

Like I said, doesn't matter where you are if your not 1 or 2 ...

That's true, most seasons it isn't really an argument outside of fans of schools 3 and 4.

Still may not be this season.

Well Bama has finalized their 2014 schedule by adding Southern Miss. A staple for the schedule back when southern competed for their conference titles.

Glad to have it back but it's a shame southern is so bad now.

At least their fans have a sense of humor though.
One told me today that they would probably win. His reasoning was that they are so terrible they would probably mess up losing. Lol.

Uh oh

A Tallahassee DNA analysis, per a report, says that the sample from Jameis Winston matches the one that was taken from the woman accusing him of sexual assault.
ESPN.com reported the match in the analysis Wednesday evening. The DNA sample of Winston's was recently obtained after the 11 month delay in the case. The incident happened on December 7 and the case recently became public and was reopened.

His dna was found on her panties.
How about in her? Did the rape kit show any physical injuries?
Was it a case of drunk she said, drunk he said?
Was there actual force used? Or a case of regret?

This will be a PR nightmare if he is charged and FSU doesn't suspend him. Would they really send the message that the starting QB and Heisman candidate should be treated different than other athletes in similar situations?

Report: Jameis Winston could avoid suspension if charged with felony

According to the Orlando Sentinel, there’s a chance Florida State may not suspend quarterback Jameis Winston if he’s charged with a felony stemming from an ongoing sexual assault inquiry.

FSU policy is to suspend any player charged with a felony, as was the case with wide receiver Greg Dent this summer. But the Sentinel reported language in FSU athletics’ code of conduct that allows for a player to avoid automatic suspension if “extraordinary circumstances” are present.

Hmmm, The NCAA will suspend him on a Tuesday and reinstate him on a Wednesday ... oh wait they already pulled that one before ...
