So what about teams in Washington or Colorado? Are they going to suspend pot testing for those schools since it's now legal?
Still illegal from a federal stand point, just because a state says it is legal doesn't really mean it is and since the NCAA means National Collegiate Athletic Association therefore "National" trumps all.
Also far as I know business can still use it against employees? or is this not the case.
Watching Air Force at Boise State right now on ESPN. I'm sorry but I do still love watching Boise State playing on the "Smurf Turf." I'm sure that there were "purists" who insisted that football(& baseball) was meant to be played outdoors(on REAL grass) when the Astrodome first opened. I'm such a "purist",I believe that football players should still be playing wearing leather helmets without face masks & high top cleats on black & white TV.
That blue turf is a joke and they shouldn't be allowed to use it with the same colored uniforms, very unfair to other teams not to mention its just hard to get used to if you've not played on it much which they do.
The new artificial turf I'm fine with, but the color should be green.

If my neighbors son wasn't on the Air Force team, I wouldn't be watching. That crappy excuse for a field is a pain to try and watch on tv.
Ya know guys ... the deal with the blue turf is one thing on TV and probably announcing the games as well, but as for them wearing the same color as the field, that shouldn't be allowed .... however ... when your actually ON the field, you really don't notice the colors being the same because your playing on the same field, your not playing from above the field where you would obviously see the likeness.
I wonder what people that have played on the field have to say about that ?
From a viewers perspective, yes, it's annoying ...
It blends in on the field too Jimbo. My nephews high school has a 20 yd section at midfield that is black with the high school logo and when they wear their black uniforms, the players do blend in at field level. The red numbering and lettering on their uniforms is all that really stands out. However black is a lot easier on the eyes, than the blue at Boise or the red at Eastern Washington and its only a 20 yd section.
Very possible, they should just end it and leave it be. Miami looks good this year and has VT at home again cause of Pitt and Syracuse coming into the ACC. IMO they could have done it another way some how to avoid that but whatever.
I thought I remember reading that they passed a rule where teams couldn't where the same color uniforms as the field (except maybe for green obviously) just because of what we are talking about.

Supposedly Boise State couldn't do that against conference teams that belonged in the conference that they were playing in(the conference before the conference that they are supposed to be moving to next. Confused? Me too.). It was fair game against playing non-conference teams they played at home.

horrible game against ECU that vt had today... horrible I hate playing them they are always tough.
watching the bama vs A&M game now with a side of Florida state. If A&M plays like VT did against Bama they will win this game for sure as they have a better offense and no drops in special teams that I've seen thus far.

Michigan holds on, no excuse for that today, ugh I dont watch much football on CBS might have to watch the game with the mute on, can't stand the announcers, especially Gary daneileson
cbs isn't bad.... Fox is horrible!! Kept shrinking the screen to like boxed 20" size on my 52" HD to show stupid advertising banners on right and bottom of screen even during plays!! I hate fox!
