Texas aNm really needs to hope and pray that Johnny football does not get injured. They almost losing to rice, in the firs thalf. Johnny steps in and scores 2 quick TDs. Kids got skills. He with out a doubt is a difference maker on the field much like Tebow was for my gators. The team all around him just seems to play better when he is on the field.

And just like Tebow he will be out of the NFL within 3 years. Tebow is on waivers and I can't believe anyone would want him.

actually weak OSU offense keeping msu in the game. This is why Lunt was an idiot to transfer. Chelf is ok, but didn't think he would last and Walsh is good but doesn't have the arm to run the OSU offense. We will have to stay in the diamond formation with Walsh for the offense to be effective.

So my gators win obviously. Our offense still gives me a few doubts but that run game is great. I miss the old fast paced spread/fun and gun of the urban/spurrier days. But alas, this ground and pound seems to win games to so we will see. We will not score a lot of points as we used to but we will control the game. I think today we had the ball some 70% of the game. That kind of clock control can really slow down and keep these faster scoring offenses at bay. Our defense had a stellar performance as usual. Holding Toledo to only 2 field goals. That was even with out a few of our key players who were suspended by the coach for team violations.


We have our first test of the season against Miami next week. Ya I know its not exactly cream of the crop but it is an in state rival and we are going to miami for the game. Been a few years since we played the hurricanes so I am sure they will be fighting hard to make a name for themselves again.

Hope Florida's offense comes around, I think Toledo only had 2 starters on the Defensive side that started last year.

I only saw bits and pieces, but I expected more from the Toledo Offense, but then again it was a Florida D.

Hope Florida's offense comes around, I think Toledo only had 2 starters on the Defensive side that started last year.

I only saw bits and pieces, but I expected more from the Toledo Offense, but then again it was a Florida D.

Well I expected our defense to shut them down. They have been solid even as our offense has slacked. Defense has been solid and the only reason why we have not fell as far as we should have with our lack luster offense. The first 2 seasons I gave them a lot of slack because we were a team built around the spread option and speed attack. But now Muschamp has 2 recruitment classes under his belt on the field for his style of offense, I expect a lot more out of them this year. I mean Im not complaining about our performance we did good, controlled the game and moved the ball at will, we just had some trouble scoring tds in the redzone. can not settle for field goals against GA, SCAR, LSU, etc.

I knew we would have trouble running the ball this year. No power running back and a young line. They should try jones in the backfield. Often times yelden looks like he is walking to the hole
