the burning question, will the suspension be without pay? Or will he just be selling autographs during the first half?

Ya the Defense that won 2 BCS titles including one of them against the mighty and powerful Big12 Offense that everyone said just cant be stopped. How many points did that mighty Big12 team put up? 14 was it? That year they put up 61 points against your OsU.. Put up 50+ points in 9 games including a few over 60 points.. FLA Defense shut them up quick.
Dont mistake a slip up against a well prepared team as a weakness. Alabama had its slip up and look what they have done since. Charlie Strong had that team ready and straight kicked our butt. It happens.

I wonder if it was because Johnny football took no money? The kids family is rich, he had no need for the money. As it is now it seems it was nothing more than someone playing the part of a superstar and getting to ahead of himself. His ego seems bigger than his head.

North Carolina vs South Carolina
Ole Miss vs Vandy
?USC vs Hawaii
Saturday
Ok State vs Miss State
Bama vs Va Tech
Georgia vs Clemson
LSU vs TCU
UF vs Toledo
I think the Thursday games are pretty easy to pick. USC is down but this is Hawaii were talking about..
Saturday of course, I will be banging cow bells but I think Miss State has fallen to much and is to beaten down by the SEC West, and that they are hardly a top ten team in the SEC will get beaten pretty solid by possibly the Big 12 champion. I still have hope though SEC SEC SEC!!
Bama of course dismantles Vatech as if it was playing a FBS school.
Georgia gets the fight of its life against Clemson but I think they hold out at the last min. I think Clemson is high on the hoarse after its big win to end last season and maybe a bit over confident.
LSU will handily beat TCU on the defensive side of the ball. LSU might not score much so the score may seem close, but make no mistake it will be all LSU this game. They will shut down the TCU offense we can only hope the LSU offense can do something.
I think UF will take Toledo in a very tight game. By tight I mean the shoe laces of the FLA running backs will be very tight as they run all over the field against Toledo and score at will. I am really excited to see this stock of running backs take shape and show us what they can do. On paper they are an absolute amazing group who will get there shot to perform this year. Having been this exciting about FLAs power running backs since a guy name Smith. This core has the potential to match that of Alabams Ingram/Trent/Lacy.
?We shall see if they prove themselves.

blah blah blah same ol sh*t you usually go on blathering about.
Really... no one can prove if he did or didn't take any money. There is enough circumstantial evidence to say he or someone close to him most likely did and with other programs that has been enough to warrant more than a half game suspension. Enough that I am about fed up with FBS college football and ready to call it quits. Get more interesting games watching highschools and FCS anyway.
I wish you guys luck this year. Id love for your team to make your first BCS title game.
It is much easier to talk trash when my team has beaten yours. Its why I can give Jimbo such a hard time I wouldnt mind one bit a OkS v FLA BCS title game. 
Yes next year.. already planning on a trip up to that game at Ohio State.
Many people are counting out VT as to show up and roll over but its far from it. I expect a well played game no matter the outcome, should be fun and looking forward to it.
And really, that's pretty much the end of it.

I have no idea what the evidence was against Johnny Manzeil and I would wager nobody on this board does either. Having said that, this seem to be just the NCAA being dumb as usual. I will say again, they need to totally scrap the rules they have now because most of them penalize for stupidity. Just come up with 10 rules that really indicate cheating and hold schools and athletes accountable for them.
I would also guess the NCAA's worse nightmare and something that benefits them in no way was, Bama and A&M playing without Johnny. College football fans across the country would have been unhappy and the viewership would have been a fraction nationwide without him in the game. Maybe I am cynical but I believe THAT was the driving factor in the "suspension".

So if he did nothing wrong, then why was he suspended? If I was A&M, I would be having a cow... Especially if he 'did nothing wrong'. Unless, the school and/or "Football" made a deal....
